Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 4!!

Hi all, thanks for your good wishes.

Sadly it doesn't look like it's going to be good news for us - had an internal as I didn't have a full enough bladder. She found 3 sacs but they all appear to be empty although there is some internal echoes so she's referring me to the EPU via midwife for a poss triplet pregnancy but inconsistent with dates.

Realistically , even if my dates are a couple of weeks out, we still should have seen something so very mixed feelings at the moment and already plenty of tears from both of us.

Will have to have another scan in no less than 10 days but we'll see what the midwife says tomorrow

I've got my scan tomorrow and I'm really nervous. We decided not to pay for a private scan so have had to wait for this one so I'm petrified.

It's my check up scan later on this morning, to see how baby is going after last week, check for a more consistent heartbeat and to try and date the pregnancy further as baby was too small to date last Friday. While I've not had any more bleeding like last week, I have been spotting every day (not unusual, spotted every day for three weeks before the bleeding too)... I am still absolutely petrified. Trying to stay calm and relaxed for sake of baby, but it's not easy!

Morning all, thank you for your thoughts and best wishes.

Today is a very strange day for us. HB & I have gone off to work although I'm regretting it now but I never take time off sick (and don't feel sick - just incredibly emotional) so I'm sat at my desk trying to plod on.

Have spoken to the MW's this morning - they told me I have to speak/see GP to get a referal to the EPU. Have spoken to GP twice this morning (he's been fab and extremely efficient) and the EPU won't see me for a scan for another 10 days min - to allow for more growth. He's going to speak to them again around lunchtime (once he's seen his morning patients as he put them on hold for me - such a lovely man) and will give me a call back as the EPU may wish to start monitoring my bloods to see if my HCG's are increasing but it's all TBC for now.

GP says that despite me being 8+4, I am really only about 5-6 weeks ish so there is still a bit of a chance that it's just too early - but he did say that normally you can see something by then, even if not a heartbeat.

So, it's been an emotional rollercoaster these last 36 hours - MW booking in appt on Weds, private scan last night - she didn't say much whilst initially scanning but I could see the 3 dark sacs, then she confirmed that she couldn't see anything inside them but that there are some "echoes" in the largest one.

Sacs are currently measuring:
16mm = 6+6
14mm = 6+4
9mm = 5+6

They don't tie in with my dates but having never been PG before, I could have it all wrong (although GP & MW confirmed my dates seem correct).

Waiting for the GP to call at lunch to see what happens next but we're expecting it to be sad news unfortunately.

I have another private scan ( I KNOW I KNOW but symptoms settled and MW wont get my scanned til 13+weeks so dont want to worry as really dont feel pregnant anymore! x ) tonight at 5.15 so scared xx
