Ooooh gelly they look delicious! Also what a cute way to let people know.

Any name glad your oh is there to look after you now x

Afm booked my private scan for 3pm on Saturday I'm super nervous about it. I think I'll have to tell the rest of my team next week if my scan goes ok as according to my boss a few of them have already been digging and guessing due to the fact I haven't been drinking my usual 5 cups of tea a day. We are quite a small close knit team so I probably wouldn't have been able to keep it secret much longer anyway .

    Hugs to all x

Oh thank you claire - I've never posted photos before and clearly have no idea what I'm doing - I'll stick to baking eh!!! :rotfl:

Really chuffed with them - the icing didn't go quite to plan but I love the little pink and blue toppers on them - just hoping my parents work it out by looking at them and I don't have to spell it out!

Can't believe our scan is this evening - it's dragged but also come round super quick IYKWIM.

Any name - how are you doing today? Been thinking about you....

  • The cakes look fab!

I am still bleeding, but it's dark, brown rather than red, so I am hoping that's s good sign, although I am not holding out a lot of hope now.

I rang the EPU directly this morning for advice, and was told as I have had three consequtive miscarriages I don't need a referral from anyone, and they have booked me a scan tomorrow morning, it's the first available slot. The lady I spoke to also apologised for my midwife, and told me that she couod have referred me for a reassurance scan last week, even without the bleeding I had had, due to my mcs.

I have been told to ring the emergency midwife if it gets heavy.

I am working at home this morning, and have just phoned my manager to tell her about my appointment tomorrow. She was as lovely and sympathetic as always.

I'm sorry to just dive in here out of the blue but I know there are some people on this forum who will be wondering how I am and this seemed the most appropriate place.

After five miscarriages and some trouble getting pregnant which I've shared on the TTC and miscarriage threads, I got pregnant at the end of last year. I've had three early scans under St Mary's in London but I was very nervous about my 12 week scan today because I usually have list the baby by that point.

But it was all fine :) baby was waving like mad and very wiggly so I'm beginning to feel confident about telling people and posting again.

I'm due at the end of July so no summer holiday for us. Our daughter is five around the due date so that will be interesting!

I might slope off to the other thread now. Thanks :)
