Me too! Although I was woken by a dream. Long and complex and mostly nice, but ended stressfully so I have to keep myself awake for a while to get it out of my head.
Is anyone else still getting incredibly vivid dreams? They are waking me up most nights since a few days before bfp. I've always had strong dreams, but this is getting crazy.0 -
I had a dream last week that I was asleep, and when I woke up (in my dream) my baby had been born (wishful thinking???) and I wanted to breasfeed it but my mum was giving it a bottle of vimto and no one would listen to me!
Bizzare!0 -
My dream was going OK, met up with an old friend over always regretting losing (but it took place on a strange us style country) but ended with me being told I had appendicitis and needed an immediate operation!! Shocked me into waking up. Then I end up worrying for a while about the cost etc... Before I properly click that it was a dream.
Bring on 12 weeks! Time for some of these crazy symptoms too ease off.0 -
Hmm, lots of food for thoughts thanks. Maybe I'll go down the text rather than call route. In this chat in Janaury she implied she didn't need to go for test as they 'weren't properly trying.' I just find it tricky to know where I stand as she is normally very clear and honest. I guess it's just too much to talk about.
The friend with the baby has surprised us all by being (in my view) over anxious and obssessed. I am taking one for the team next Saturday. She has invited us all to his 1st birthday which will be in a community centre in the middle of nowhere in the afternoon. I have no children and the only one of us who does shuddered at the thought. It seems from the timings there will no substantial food, can't see there being a bar and even if there was and I wasn't pregnant, it requires a car to get there so no drinking. Am going to help set up, deliver a present and then make a graceful exit about an hour in. If my pregnancy all goes well it will be a small family affair for me at home thanks very much.
I'm now getting the odd sharper pain in my boobs. Groin pain no different.
ClaireC - that's really helpful thanks! Trust RBH to have some overly elaborate and complex system that fails due to those very reasons! I'd have been gutted not to get a photo and I am sure family will want one. Good to know I don't need a full bladder.
monty-doggy - the reason I am up at this ridiculous time on a Sunday is a dream (nothing exciting). I am remembering my dreams more. I think I am sleeping more lightly so more likely to wake and remember. I used to be one of those fortunate people who could sleep like a log. I thought sleep wasn't a problem until much further in! When I googled all I could find was suggestions I was depressed which isn't the reason.Met DH to be 2010

Hello ladies
Please can I join you. Got my early BFP on Wednesday so still feeling a little tentative! My boobs are very very sore though so that is reassuring me!
Still a little bit in shock! When do I contact the doctor?:A26/5/14 - Baby Neve - left footprints on my heart0 -

Welcome!
I saw your BFP on the TTC thread and wondered when you were coming
I think it is different wherever you are, but I had to call my doctor's surgery about something else not long after I got my BFP, so while on the phone I just mentioned I was newly pregnant, and the receptionist booked me in for a mw appt straight away. This ended up being a 'referral' appt and then I had my booking in with the midwives at 10 weeks. If I were you I would just ring the doctor, say 'I have just found out I am pregnant, when do I need to make an appointment?' and the receptionist will know
Congratulations! If it is any consolation, I got my BFP at 9DPO and apart from sore nipples and general crampy lower tummy feelings I did not start to get other symptoms (like sickness) for a couple of weeks. It will probably all come!

Hadn't really thought about it till hubbie said but has anyone else got permanently erect nipples? Is this a early pregnancy sign to go with sore boobs?

Hi frankieloo, I phone the Dr's surgery the day after I found out and the receptionist told me the process and booked me my first midwife's appointment there and then, if I hadn't been querying medication I was taking I wouldn't have had to speak to my Dr at all.
Just signed up for the aptamil and Emma's diary freebees thanks for mentioning them.
Muppet dog is now pouncing on a shaft of light on the rug, she was playing with shadows in the kitchen earlier. I'm not sure just how 'with it' she really is lol.0 -
