Lil miss I do belly and boobs but also throw in bum to knees but only because I have cellulite and stretch marks I'm hoping will magically disappear!
I like the line about OH sharing my pregnancy when I'm being moody . Will have time try that one out!0 -
Do you think it is at all possible that I felt the baby move today? I had the strangest feeling just below my tummy like a fluttering and thought oh must be the baby but then I googled it and everyone seems to say you don't feel it until much later on, around 20 weeks and I am only just over 11.
It was such a strange feeling like nothing I have ever felt before. Not like trapped wind (I've had plenty of that lol). So I don't know what it was if it wasn't the baby, maybe things stretching?
I have started spotting again this evening too. Just as I suspected it seems to happen after hubby and I DTD (sorry if TMI). So not like I feel like doing it much at the moment but should we stop. I read it's normal but they don't say if it's OK to carry on. I guess I will have to ask the midwife.0 -
Thanks lilmiss for sharing your timeline I guess it's done differently around the country as my timeline goes like this:
03/03/14 - BFP
04/03/14 - saw the doctor due to the medicine I was on and he referred me to the midwives
24/03/14 - 1st midwife appointment.
26/03/14 - 2nd midwife appointment.
By the way how do you take a urine sample with you if they only send you a letter lol.
I'm wondering if it's to do with the fact that I have a neurological condition but would've thought that any extra care would be worked out at the first appointment. Ah well not going to complain as it's less time in the office and I'm always having hospital appointments close together so no one will notice.
Sorry you're having a rough time of it daisiegg, I really do hope that things calm down for you after tomorrow.

Whattodonow - Lumme, pretty much head to toe then. Right, new job to remember tomorrow. MIL will be pleased.
LailaP - fair play to you. We managed once last month due to me feeling sick most other convenient times. Beyond my knowledge I'm afraid. Am hoping once the nausea lifts and DH can stay awake past 8.30pm...
alioops78 - is that oop north? Maybe they do it differently or maybe it's an admin error. Guess you can take your 'letter' (hello are you living in the past?! Doon South I got my second appt via text message!) to the first appt and check with them face to face. Trying to call is a pain in my opinion - can't get hold of someone, can't get them to understand etc.By the way how do you take a urine sample with you if they only send you a letter lol.
Again as I say, 'letter?!'Was given my very own pot at the appt and a spare one to use that day and popped off to fill. I have a child's bladder capacity at the best of times so always able to be obliging! :rotfl:

Sun at the weekend - what sun?
WTDN - Thanks for the hospital info. Surprisingly my local hospital came out better on the number of complaints. I might ask for a tour of both to see which I prefer.
I've not started with bio-oil yet. Has anyone else noticed their skin has gone dry. Mine changed from being oily weeks ago. It's nice not having to wash my hair so often.
I'm still waiting for my letter from the hospital for the booking in appointment and scan date. If they are a couple of days apart I'll see if I can get them moved together.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

t2d glad to hear your good news.
I am feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Still feeling really rough, with sickness that gets worse when I am tired. It is better than it was but still not great at all. As a result I have had 1 or 2 days off work sick each week for the last 3 weeks. There is not much I can do about it. Even on days when I go into work I am feeling awful, and on days when I stay at home I literally can't move for sickness.
It is our review week at work this week...like an internal Ofsted. I am being observed tomorrow and I am really worried about it. Everyone gets nervous about being observed anyway but I am feeling so rough at the moment I know I won't be at my best.
I just logged in and checked my work email to see two horrible things...one is the person who was meant to be observing me now can't, so it is going to be the headmistress. The other is that I have been called to a meeting with the head to discuss my absences
I am now doubly dreading tomorrow. The head is a hard observer and to make matters worse I have to meet with her about my absences?I know from other people that she is unsympathetic about pregnancy sickness etc. I just don't know what I can do. I am going in as much as I can. I am going in feeling like I could pass out and having to run out of lessons to throw up. I could quite easily have just got signed off work by the doctor but I am going in as much as I possibly can and doing my best. I am 10 and a half weeks now so hopefully only another couple of weeks of this.
I just have a sick feeling in my stomach (I mean a different one to the ever present morning sickness lol!) and feel like crying thinking about tomorrow. It would be bad enough being observed without having this meeting hanging over me too.
I just want to crawl under a duvet and hide
Get signed off officially via GP. This can be done by phone or emergency appointment. I would also suggest that you mention she cannot discriminate against you as you are pregnant and any observation would be unfair.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Good luck today Daisie. Be strong! Or call in sick (which is what I would do!)0

Can I just say that being on an all inclusive holiday and not being able to drink sucks, especially now my nausea has lifted... Still brown when I wipe as well - pah!
