Aw Jox, Mason is gorgeous!!! Can't believe you manage to get a photo of him smiling - so cute! :D

Glad your scan went well Claire. :) I'm having my next one at 36wks which will be weird ( in a nice way) never had one so late on.

AFM - feel like I'm drowning in housework. So much to do and DH can only help at weekends. Plus he doesn't do a proper clean like I would do e.g. .does the bathroom but doesn't clean the shower screen or towel rail but I cant complain I suppose cos he is generally very good at helping out. He let me have a lie in this morning and I was shouting down at him at 9am why wasn't the washing on yet! :o I'm feeling so irritable lately.....:o

If you have a Tesco near you ladies it's worth looking at their clearance bins... Hubby really wanted a video monitor (I wasn't fussed... we only have a teeny tiny house so it's not like I won't hear crying!) I picked up a Summer Secure Sleep in the bin yesterday for £12.50... on amazon they're £99 and sell for £25ish on ebay second hand, so I'm feeling pretty smug! They had a few other bits too, but nothing I needed... stuff like cloth nappies, feeding comforters, sterilisers etc.

My friend told me yesterday that Matalan have a good deal on cot and crib/moses basket sheets too... off to check it out when I pop into town in a bit... they're not on the website. I think she said £6 for a 2 pack. I paid £10 for 2 in mothercare last week, so I'll probably grab another couple today.

Has anyone got any recommendations or seen any good buys on bouncer chairs? I don't want a huge great swing thing (tiny house!) just a basic bouncer I can put baby in to get on with other things sometimes. Maybe with vibration mode? I'm not sure how good they are?

Hi ladies, I'm on the slow go at the moment. Went to bed with niggles at 11pm last night, timed them at 6-7 minutes apart and all in the front. Woke up at 7 this morning with 3-4 min contractions, 8:30 they ramped up a notch to being in my back still at 3-4mins. Went to the birthing centre to be checked over at 11 and I'm 2cm now, so she gave me another sweep. Since then I've been leaning over my ball every 3 minutes when a new tidal wave of contraction comes, still breathing through them though :) This is definitely it this time, they're not letting up and I was crying to OH when he got back from his indian head massage at 12:30 telling him that it's definitely it this time and I'm not just crying labour.Going to wait it out at home until I can't take anymore, little lady is on her way :D

Good luck Kerri! Each pain is one closer to meeting baby - I kept chanting that like a mantra when in labour with DD :D

Don't know if this is the right place to ask, I am going to a baby shower ( my friends daughter in law) it is going to be a really posh affair. Afternoon tea in Chelsea!
What would be an appropriate gift to take, I think they may find the nappy cake sort of thing a bit boring.
They don't know the sex of the child, so something unisex, but a bit posh, for about £30 if that is possible?
