UU - Molton Brown re-charge black pepper bodywash 100ml - WNBA, this was part of a gift set I was given last Christmas. This is definitely a men's product, the scent is really strong and masculine.

I'm going to keep the bottle to decant some other shower gel into and take on holiday :)

TA - Collection 2000 mascara - WBA since it's a good everyday mascara.

IN - Natural Collection Mascara in black/brown (£1.99)

I know I'm still going the wrong way but I need these as I only had one mascara, I always throw them out after 3 months, probably should throw more often!

IN - Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish foundation in Porcelain Beige.

I've hit pan on my current foundation and I use this everyday so I bought a new one from ebay for £10 which I think is a bargain as it's over £20 in department stores.

Aesop Parsley Seed anti-oxidant hydrator - WMBA, this was just a sample sachet and I've not used any Aesop products before but I did like it. Obviously I only had enough for a couple of days, but it left my skin nourished and not at all shiny. I'm still searching for my HG moisturiser but this may go on the short list for a maybe. No idea on price, though.

    £43

Thanks, thought it might be pricey because I liked it!

I agree Kiwisaver and Dolly you both make very good points about younger girls and beauty youtubers being like more accessible celebrities.

Hmm I'm not sure how I'm going to get over this issue. I think I am going to have to start budgeting properly (which I should be doing anyway) and allowing myself a small amount of 'treat' money a month.

WIBA? Yes my HG scrub and I have no others in my stash, so I'll need to buy one again soon. Going to try and wait a couple of weeks though as would love to have no INs for Jan.

Overdid the Argan Oil on my hair after washing last night so it looks greasy today. Ewwww.
Not been out today so couldn't be bothered to wash it.
Will wash it tomorrow and hopefully the never ending Pantene shampoo will finally run out. Please!

Still exists according to the Dove website: http://www.dove.co.uk/en/Products/Hand-Body-Lotions/Body-Lotion/Visible-Effects-Nourishing-Body-Lotion.aspx. However for some reason when you click through to buy it you can only get it from Ocado...

I'm nipping into town today so I can look in my Boots/Superdrug and get you some if you want? (with apologies for naughty enabling!)
Thanks minerva_windsong, that's very sweet of you to offer. :) Unfortunately moisturiser and body butter are another one of the worst areas of my stash so I won't be needing any more for a long time yet!!

I did notice that the product was still featured on the Dove website, but Boots and Superdrug no longer seem to stock it. Never mind, I have lots of others to use up. :o

    Thanks again. :D

I have rather been reading and running the last couple of days, but reading all the relevant posts did make me wonder whether I should allow myself proper budget sums for clothes and skin care/toiletries etc. I have been hanging around here for just over 2 years now and have largely re-educated myself not to buy when I am down or ultra tired to cheer myself up and I have been really good in not buying from Q**, although the beauty product of the month for January is so tempting as it is my HG moisturising mask and it is such good value.

I think this week I should check through the stocks and list what might be needed for the next few months and set a budget for that plus, as you say, some treat money.

I always steer well clear of QVC; that way I can never be tempted! :rotfl:

I read tons of beauty blogs (not quite ventured over to Youtube as I like reading blogs on the bus etc which can't quite do with videos) and know what you mean about being tempted to buy everything they say is amazing. If I see something on a blog that I really want I stick it on a 'wishlist' on my phone instead of buying it. Then when I need to go buy foundation or whatever cos I'm about to run out/I need a different shade, I see what foundation I had on my wishlist and get that. Plus the wishlist gets sent to family just before Christmas, so I managed to get a Topshop lipstick and Urban Decay's Naked2 palette that I really wanted but couldnt quite justify buying.
