1 UU from my PP list.
H&S itchy scalp conditioner - WMBA - was okay as a conditioner, and I suppose my scalp hasn't been itchy (psoriasis) but won't know if it worked until I try a normal conditioner and see if the itchiness returns.
1 TA, not from PP.
Pecksniff's Eau de Parfum Floriental 11ml - WNBA, too old ladyish! Used it for a few days and thought life's too short to wear this so in the bin it's gone!Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Evening,
Welcome newbies.
I sorry to hear some of you are not well, I hope you feel better soon.mad_scientist wrote: »
I was wondering today about using shower gel instead of shampoo, how different can they be?! They have Philosophy 3in1 after all. I have no stash of shampoo left but 34 shower gels. I remember in a holiday emergency using S&G Clean on Me instead of shampoo a couple of times. My hair survived but was maybe a little dry!
I looked at my L'Occitane shower gel and Timotei Pure shampoo and the first 3 ingredients are the same so I think I might try a little experiment and use the shower gel instead for every second wash. A good opportunity to get through the shower gel stash a bit quicker! You don't have to cut them or anything, all you need is an old flannel. Just put it in the bath and let it fizz, once it's fizzed all you want it to, take it out and firmly pat it dry with the flannel and leave it to dry completely, then it'll be fine to use for next time, hthI may well run out of it towards the end of January and hope that it is still in stock in this mega size then (that would allow me to keep my no IN's for January intact if I could order at end of month and receive it in February:o:oPS I'm in the spare room where I put all my lush stuff on the bed and it smells UH MAZE ING in here!! Mmmmmmmm

UU's
Golden wonder bath bomb WBA love this one.
HM face mask in honey WNBA this was a GWP and I don't really like face masks.0 -
 wow sam love your stash:pLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
I'm pretty sure I heard an angelic choir as I scrolled through those pictures :A:rotfl:0 -
Wow at Sam.4000 Lush stash - I imagine the aroma from those makes your house smell gorgeous.
Todays UU:
Boots glitter girls bath bomb - WNBA these were a Christmas gift for DD and not a patch on Lush. This one had one aroma but at least did make the water a deep blue.
L'oreal youth code night cream sachet - WNBA cant really get an idea from a single sachet - I find night creams too rich for my skin.
Boots extracts mango body butter 50g - WNBA not a fan of mango. Luckily DD likes the matching shower gel so she is going to finish that off.
Im trying to attack minis of shower gel and body lotion this month to create some space and spur me on.No more buying toiletries0 -
VALM - on the only occasion I ever had gel polish I had it removed 'professionally', they used the same technique as Maddiemays tutorial. For me though it certainly wasnt fuss free an involved a whole lot of scraping. My nails felt awful for weeks. No more buying toiletries0

Evening!! Not had chance to read through everything, but welcome to the newbies and Get Well Soon to everyone feeling a bit under the weather. Perfect time to pamper yourselves though!
I'm trying to look after myself a bit more as I seem to have all these lovely products that I just don't use. I think I'm a bit strange, but part of my New Years Resolution this year is to take a bit more care with my appearance and to look after myself a bit more.
Anyway enough of my rambling - I have a UU to report:
Lancome Body Sculptesse 15 ml - WNBA this was a GWP with something, not even sure what it was supposed to do :rotfl:, but I've been using it as a serum as it tells me it's a "contouring and firming gel" Not noticed any difference, then again I've hardly been religious about it, I've had it for years I think and you're not going to be able to tell off 15ml!
Anyway, that's one more!0 -
Good Lord, Sam, that's a lot of Penguins! I thought I had a Lush stash! :PNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0

Oh, and, before I forget -
UU #8 and #9 - Brightside bubble bar and North Pole (White) soap. Would buy both again happily, but they were both LE.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0 -
I have only tried lush shower gels as shampoo and they worked well. I am also trying to use up shower gel as shampoo's. I do get an itchy scalp so will only do it every other shampoo and I also oil treat my scalp a couple of times a week to stop it itching so the shower gels should get the oil out better.
I told someone at work today I was going to try shower gel instead of shampoo, they looked at me in horror and said 'you can't do that!' so I know I'm in the right place on this threadI may keep my toiletry musings to myself in public!
I was also going to try every other shampoo because I think shower gel might be more drying on the hair. I figure if I can UU an extra 2 shower gels over the year and need to buy 2 less bottles of shampoo it will all have worked out fine :money:
Also, epic Lush stash! That's a lot of baths waiting for you :rotfl:No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
