  • Another OUT for me this morning - Dove Maximum Protection Go Fresh Cucumber & Green Tea Deodorant. WBA as it works well at stopping me sweating (attractive I know!) and isn't too harsh on my skin. I have another one from the brand in a different scent in the stash so will start using that tomorrow.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get the perfume top off so you can use every last drop? I tried to get the one off the Maybe Baby but failed and as I don't like it that much decided to just throw the almost empty bottle out.

I don't open the bottle, but when I can't spray anymore I leave the top off and pop the bottle on or near a radiator. :)
    Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

Those are my favourite! Nice scent but not too strong, I hate strong deodorants. I like the lemon one... well the one with the picture of the lemon on it... lol. The last one I had I found a bit powdery, hoping it was just a dodgy one and not a new formula :/

One TA - Clean and clear cleanser = WNBA - I don't know if they still make it even, but it's VERY harsh.

2 finds and added but not in's because I've had them forever they were just lurking under the bed lol.
    Myface lipstick in -152
and Body shop - Seaweed - Ionic clay mask < possibly needs to be chucked but it's my favourite so I'm going to try and find a way of reviving it, it's not gone hard, hard, but it's thickened to the consistency of dough so not idea for a facemask not going to spread anywhere... gotta be a way though, water, or lotion or something mixed in... will let you know how I get on :)

If it's a light colour gel, just paint over it. Otherwise I use the sensationail gel nail kit at home so use the foil wraps as Maddie describes and use get 'em off acetone polish. It's about £3 from boots. I also have the sensationail tool to help lift the gel but haven't used it yet.

Day 1 back at work and I made a concerted effort to leave on time. Or at least no more than 30 mins after I was supposed to finish, practically the same thing for me. Managed to both take and eat homemade soup, and pick up loads of veggies from the market to make more freezer soup! Health goddess :T

The colour is red with a gold top coat so maybe it's the topcoat that is proving difficult to remove. Maybe will try the foil technique with my nail polish remover tonight. Don't really want to buy an acetone one as it strips my nails.

I may be a little sad and photograph my lush stash every year, I have lost last years photo but I found the one from 2012. I thought I may have improved somewhat but I don't really think I have.

HM face mask in honey WNBA this was a GWP and I don't really like face masks.[/QUOTE]

Woah! You should maybe photograph it at the end of the year before you buy your new stash IYSWIM. How long does it take you to get through all those goodies?

VALM - on the only occasion I ever had gel polish I had it removed 'professionally', they used the same technique as Maddiemays tutorial. For me though it certainly wasnt fuss free an involved a whole lot of scraping. My nails felt awful for weeks.

I know what you mean. Thing is if I go and have it removed profesionally will have to have them repainted and that's a no go at the moment.
I told someone at work today I was going to try shower gel instead of shampoo, they looked at me in horror and said 'you can't do that!' so I know I'm in the right place on this thread :D I may keep my toiletry musings to myself in public!

I mentioned the other day that I was gifted a squished up tube of L'occitane hand cream at work. Couldn't find my key at home so started to roll the tube up from the bottom to get all the product out. My friend asked if this was the best way to get the cream out and then went on to say how she had cut open a tube of hair serum as she had run out. I asked "Don't you cut open all your tubes?" to be met with an incredulous "No, you don't do you?" Erm, yes. OK then she was looking at me weirdly but it's what us ladies do isn't it??

Another UU : Aussie shampoo. Hurrah I am now graduated in shampoos (cue Beauty School Drop Out Song from Grease!) as I only have the one bottle of Pantenne left in my stash.

Thank you for making me sing and sway whilst heating my soup in the microwave at work. Didn't get any funny looks at all....!
  • Just something as an alternative/extra to cutting up tubes - if anyone has a Tiger shop near them they sell tube squeezers shaped like lips that fit over the top of your tubes and help you to squeeze out more product. I've only used mine on the toothpaste tubes as annoying they only come in one size, but they only cost a couple of quid so might be worth a shot for using up more product before you have to cut things open!

Is that the Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena one? That's the one I have in my stash, good to hear it's a nice one if so!

Oooh nice tip, a Tiger store has just opened up near me and I love it! Do you know what the product's called?

I am seriously a little bit scared of that Lush stash photo - don't think I've ever had that much Lush in my whole life! :D
