    Well.........my 1p seems to want exclusivity as I continue to be unable to find it a friend!!! :rotfl:

    Onward and upward I suppose. It's interesting as I have come to realise that I am not used to glancing down at the pavement and scanning. I am quite shocked at the amount of coin sized / shaped chewing gum there actually is on the floor. Is this some sort of mirage for road kill rebels??????? :cool:

    In work tomorrow but need to pop out for a birthday present on Wednesday. The search continues! Good luck everyone.
  • Can I join in too please? I have been reading this thread with great enjoyment as I have been doing this on and off for quite a while and thought I was the only daft one out there ;). It's good to find I'm not alone.
    Finds so far this year one lonely 1p on 9th Jan and after a detour to the shops yesterday it was joined by another 1p and a very flat and dirty 50p.

    Have enjoyed this thread and have been on the lookout for coins.

    Found 2p so far but keen to find more.

    There was a 5p outside my work but there was a crowd of people behind me and I didn't pick it up lol!

    Keep going, you will get there!

    Afternoon all,

    No roadkill to report but for anyone out and about in York there are a few folk going around handing out money coupons for their 'Morrisons Local' shop on Spurriergate (top end of Coney Street).

    I just saw them going down Petergate about 15-20 mins ago, you can't miss them they are wearing bright yellow fleeces and look like they're having a great day... ;) they had a fair old stack when I saw them...

    Vouchers all expire on 02/02/14 but consist of;

    2x £3 off a £10 spend
    1x £4 off a £15 spend
    1x Free cup of Coffee (which normally sell for £1.19 apparently)

    Hopefully this will benefit someone? Apologies I have no idea if this happening anywhere else but it gives us folk in York a chance to save a few quid to deposit in the jar and have a free cuppa in the process!
