Knowing him I don't think I will have to worry for a while. Changing my number will be expensive due to business cards etc etc etc but if it has to be done I will. I deleted him from my phones contact list etc so that if I have moments of weakness then I can't get hold of him unless I physically drive over. I haven't blocked him but apparently it's possible.
Tonight I am off to bed. Hope I will get some sleep and tomorrow we will get in with general jobs around the house and sort the school stuff out ready for the start of term.
Night all. Cannot believe the amount of views this thread has had. Look at the top! Mind blowing that my life is followed by so many!

  • What an ar*e. How dare he blame you, loving the new positive mooloo, I get the feeling that this for you was the final straw, you have given yourself permission in a way to find happiness in yourself. Long may it last xxx

Hadnt thought of it that way! Maybe I did finally give myself permission to stop trying.
I am trying to look for all the positives that have come out of this time and I suppose deep down I have known for a while that what we had was only working superphyschally. (Sorry spellings wrong).
The internal mantra of give him time changed with each delay or knock back.
This time I just gave up.
I think the fact that he thinks I still want my Ex husband and that he said I should go back to him really really made me mad. I have no intentions of going backwards with anyone. I have no intentions to go on a man hunt either!
This year will be pretty well full with the changes to my working world, the creation of my Mooloos branding and marketing I suppose. Not to mention caring for DGD and the young adults I call my children.
We will plan out places to visit with the National Trust membership he gave me for Christmas! We will sort out this house and spend time here and in our blank canvas of a garden.
We will go to Portugal again somehow.
We may buy the sun this next few days and collect the tokens for a £9.50 holiday. They start on the 4th.
We will invite my parents over for a Sunday Lunch while they are in the UK.
We will be fine. I am looking forward to it all.
Life is a challenge, but from now on it has many opportunities that I had denied us by travelling to Oxford most of the time.
I hope that if your following me, and are along for the ride, that you will see and experience the changes with us.
DGD deserves a happy granny, and I deserve to be happy. I don't have to have him beside me to do any of that.

2014 is off and running, and although I may yet not be able to physically run far, I am tagging along. So to speak.

Molly is coming to see us this morning as yesterday time had the better of us.
So finish my tea and get to it. X

  • Mooloo, I can't believe the change in you from 3 or 4 weeks ago, I think 2014 is going to be your year.

All the very best to you, and when you have occasions when you feel down or the problems with the young people become overwhelming , just read this thread from the beginning again and I think you will get your oomph back.

    Take care

Just back from Mr T. Shopping.
Managed to open the car door straight into my face and split my lip! Great start to a shopping trip. Ordered a new iron on click and collect which won't actually be in until Saturday due to the holidays apparantly.
Loo rolls were 18 for £5 which was a good bargain on something I wanted and got a 50 wash Persil for £7.
Didn't get much else as I hadn't got around to my menu planning before I went so didn't want a huge shop until I am sorted properly.
DGD did get some cherry cola in there though.
Best to plan my shopping either on line or when I am on my own.
The sun has been out today which is really helping my frame of mind. Sunny disposition. X

Good grief! I think I am on a different planet. Few minutes ago I had a text in from him asking if that was it then? Erm????? Yep!
I sent the words about Thankyou for my freedom etc.
He still thinks I would go back? Is he completely void of feelings? Anyway It's a resounding No from me. Enough was enough. And am back to looking at my plans for savings, holidays with DGD and all the new options that are open to me.
    No more mind games.
Onwards and upwards is definitely the way I am going to go.

    Hope your lip is ok.

If this was me, I'd be tempted to ignore (or block if you can) any more texts from him.

I've read some of your posts on here. Well done for doing an amazing job. :)

Right - so now with a clear conscience you can ignore his calls and delete his texts without reading them.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I deleted him from my contacts but hadnt blocked him. I do need to get DGDs bike etc back from his place really. But am not ready to face him. Even prepared to buy her a new one if I have too. But was a bit floored as I didn't expect to hear from him for at least 4 or 5 days! Nevermind. He's now been told.
I am tired and ready to go to bed now I think.
Bit shaken inside but my resolve is definite.
