Morning all,
End of an era today.....DD1 finishes primary school. I'm working till 1 and then off to her leavers assembly for 2 with tissues in my handbag! Then the school have arranged a treat of bowling for the kids for an hour, when this has finished we will go out for a meal just the 4 of us which will be nice :-)
DD1 came home with a letter to say any money left in her school dinner account will be passed to DD2 to use for next term. This means I won't lose the £4.20 still on her account :-)
Still another week until payday! It seems aaaaaages away!
Not much in the way of other news. I've changed my signature so am chuffed to see it under £4.5k
I hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Tuesday!!
I just had a 3 day weekend but don't feel ready to go back to work yet
DD1s leavers assembly was great but sad that she has left primary school. Brizzle I hope your DD enjoyed her last few days.
We then went out for lunch just the 4 of us before a walk and paddle on the beach.
Saturday Hubby fixed the car and we did some food shopping before I Cooked us a 3 course meal :-) Then Sunday we went to a different beach, paid £5 parking and had a lovely time with SIL, BIL and our nephew rock pooling and swimming in the sea. After that we had a BBQ at our house which was lovely. MIL and FIL joined us for that.
Then yesterday I looked after my brother and sister at my mums while she worked so the kids had an active day running around their garden in and out of the paddling pool and on the trampoline
Today is back to work to what is going to be a ridiculously busy day. So hopefully it will be productive and will fly by.
Not much news money wise- just treading water until payday arrives on Friday. I have my contract review on Monday. Though I'm not hopefully for any kind of pay rise. We are just launching in America and my boss has slipped into conversation a number of times how much it has cost us so I feel she is preparing to be able to say we are stretched as a company but the long term benefits mean a pay rise in the near future.
So we will wait and see.
Oh my baby Oleg toy turned up Saturday. I put him in evade Sunday morning for £29.99 and he sold that afternoon :-) £30 towards DDs wardrobe!

Morning everyone,
I am so busy at work at the moment I am getting a poorly tummy in the mornings. I have so much on covering other people's job roles that I feel like I am sinking in it all. Also with my review being tomorrow (I was wrong about the date) I am really trying to keep on top of it all. Hubby is off today so he wants me to finish at 2.30 so I am already anxious about getting enough work done before I have to leave
Payday Friday!! Not far now but desperately needed!
Will chat to hubby about overpayments tonight. On Friday DD1 and I are going to sort out her uniform for big school. At least it is done then I know the cost!
Hubby has his son over today so I am hoping he does something nice while I am at work and doesn't just sit at home!

Hi OF, and happy pay day to you! It must be exciting on paydays now being so close to debt freedom, I literally can't wait to be at that point!
Hope work is chilling out a bit for you and your review went well. I hope all your extra work and covering other people doesn't go un-noticed, you can't beat yourself up about covering other peoples roles, thats not fair on you.
Have a fab weekend, and can't wait to see your totals once you've made your payday payments!!
Onwards and upwards!

Morning everyone,
Wow it's been nearly a week. Well I had my review (thanks for asking ladies!) and it was all good. She is incredibly happy with how in doing and wants to work with me for the next 6 months to make me office manager which means a lot more responsibility as the two sales managers will be answerable to me. I am pretty much doing this role anyway but having a formal role 'turns my suggestions into instructions'. So I received a £1.6k pay rise for now with a view to increasing it more substantially when my new role is finalised....ie if I prove myself over the next 6 months
Money wise- I have spent a fortune at the weekend. I took DD1 shopping for secondary school stuff and got absolutely everything except shoes for £168. She the shoes I've ordered take me to just over the £200 mark. But now she's done all really with uniform, PE kit, new crop tops, stationery and dictionaries plus a new bag
THEN I picked up DD2s solid okay bed which is a second down from £299 to £199. I was expecting to buy this over the next two months. Just looks like ill be overpaying more of my £500 target next month.
The £100 a month pay rise will help our target for the end of the year.
Need to shove some bits on eb@y as I'm sick of this little pile at the end of the bed.
We also have to decide on if we want to buy in car DVD players. Our holiday is in 2.5 weeks and we planned ages ago that we would buy some. The kids have at least 28 hours in the car so I think we could do with them for their sake...however I don't want to spend the money!
MSE things
Lunch from stores
Dinner from stores (using up freezer)
Check banking
Make payments
Reconcile spends
List a couple of eB@y items
Send some sold items that I should have done already and follow up with an email to apologise.
NSD (except for bills)
Catch up with diaries!

Happy Thursday!
Nearly the weekend. I had a day off yesterday and went to the North Devon show. It was a lovely day albeit a little muddy. Got to sample lots of local foods. Spent a bit on fudge, pies, chutney and sausages! I feel knackered this morning though!
Hubby and I had a chat about money last night and I seem to have been conned into taking over a £120 bill of his to even up our disposable income! So his account benefits from my pay rise! All goes the same way in the end I know! I told him my goals for the end of the year and that I reckon march 15 will be our debt free debt. Tonight we will sort out paying his card down to under £1k
Just got to rein my money in for the rest of the hols. I don't need another day like yesterday!
My girls are at the beach all day with Nanny so I know they will be having a good time while I am at work.
Have a lovely day
