You haven't posted much lately although you pop over to my diary sometimes. Anyway I wondered if you are feeling any better. I hate that limbo when I know I need to make a change but can't/haven't done it. It leave me feeling edgy and unsettled. You might be feeling the same? Anyway, thinking of you. Hug. I'm quite partial to inane ramblings as you have probably noticed on my diary. Have a good dayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

and it seems like my life has been on a fast forward since august.
thanks to all and the work related suggestions. pros and cons are summarised as below
it's a relatively well paid job for NI.
it provides me with a v nice co car that, for the first time in 5 co cars, i truly love.
it's my function that i set up from scratch making apron strings hard to cut.
i enjoy my work and most of my clients.
i have some really good colleagues.
change is a coming
and the bad bits
the environment sucks with morale at an all time low
they take the proverbial
the hours and pressure can be ridiculous
the travel
change is a coming
a week ago, i'd truly had enough. however, since then the change talked about since May is starting to happen. i'm trying to hang in while creating some boundaries.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. so, the credit card bill from the holiday has to be paid at the end of this month and savings have been transferred to avoid any interest. i'm hopeful that between now and the year end, the savings can be upped to where they stood. in his first big effort to generate additional funds, OH opened the HSBC account. they have messed him around to the extent that he doesn't think everything necessary will be in place to effect the transfer by their deadline. not good.
i continue to use vouchers as much as possible and am building up nectar points and some from swaggbooks, gFk surveys etc towards christmas presents and provisions. i haven't been making the mortgage OPs though as i want to sort out credit card, the quarterly gas bill but also because i donated £100 to a worthy charity. i'd sooner have an extra month on the mortgage than never getting around to making the donation.
i claimed £40 back from a work healthcare scheme so that's a bit extra coming in too.
yesterday i did a reconciliation of presents bought to those i need to buy for. while my two parasites are broadly covered off, bar the choc oranges, coins, etc., there's little so far for OH and quite a number of other gifts to buy.
here's the thing though and this isn't at all meant to sound smug but, in the real world as opposed to my panicstriken planet, we both have relatively well paid jobs, dd starts back to work on tuesday, there's food in the freezer and, while household bills could be trimmed, they are affordable as is the mortgage. so i'm trying not to fret if the cash emergency fund dips.
today i am grateful for
a safe home that keeps out the elements
heat and light
the means to make a charitable donation.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. I like the gratitude list. It's true. I am grateful for those things too. It's all too easy to forget that...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
