Made it through the week at work. Am wondering if I'm a hard nosed cow based on the number of people who expressed surprise at an early return. What else am I supposed to do? Sit, look at four walls and brood? It may be that I will be totally floored at a later stage but right now, I think that work is better for me. Today I'm going into work for the morning. Tomorrow I have one dublin based meeting from 9 to 10 so am taking the time I work this morning to not go back to work afterwards. Instead one of my friends is gonna come with me and we are heading outlet shopping afterwards as dd has an ideal 30th birthday present in mind that I couldn't pay full price for.
Yesterday there was a partner meeting at work where the issue of my pay increase was discussed. Wonder what the outcome will be. Have been approached by a recruitment agent about two opportunities. I'm having a look see as a fall back. The one advantage of being in a job where you tender for work is that you always have a current cv.
In other news, said fook it and have booked a holiday in September. Can't wait. I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with any diaries lately and you've been through so much.
I'm definitely in the "best to go to work" camp as left at home after a bereavement I just cry all day and feel worse. It certainly doesn't make you cold.
