Don't get the attitude with me pal,I'm on here for some advice and if you've got none to give me wind your neck in!

Look pal you are the one seeking advice, you are the one hijacking threads, if you don't want help carry on with your attitude, basically I don't give a monkeys what you think of me, but you won't get help on this thread as it's not bloody yours!
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

We will all tell you the same thing - if you want help from the regular posters on here who know their stuff and spend hours on here giving their time and expertise freely, then you must start your own thread.

Stroma is one of those regulars and a well respected poster. Insulting him is really not the way to go about endearing yourself to those who you are asking to help you.

I didn't realise I had to start my own thread about this,I thought I could go into a thread which is already talking about this subject rather than have people repeating the same thing on the same subject all the time. So apologies

Yes I know what you mean, some people do have spare time to roam these forums all day every day without the hassle of children to attend too! There must be someone on here with the same position as us on here, I would just like to know at what stage their at now with it all, surely not too much to ask?

    Wow!

Well I'm a Mum with four children and a husband and a full time job with a high level of responsibility. But I also help people here every day and late at night and if there's something I want to know about on MSE on another subject, well, like others I can manage to...search a forum...surely not too much to ask, especially when it's pretty clear that's what you'd need to do to find all the other threads started every day, every week, every year about this junk mail letter chain? :)

'There must be people in the same position' - LOL, you have no idea! How about using the 'search this forum' heading next to 'forum tools' above the sticky threads:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163

If you put in 'Zenith' as a search term you might learn why we are so bored by this and not particularly bothered about these tedious letters that everyone here has ignored for almost a decade. You will be reading until at least next Christmas if you simply do a search as the forum is supposed to be used. That's what the 'search this forum' heading is for - whereas we are here to help people with more immediate issues. Such as, their appeal to POPLA or to help them if they get a court claim from Parking Eye & similar, not to repeat all the zillions of threads already here about this tedious, 'overly-discussed-to-death-already' letter chain of junk mail.

Also dare I add, if you had read the 'Private Parking ticket, old or new? NEWBIES please read these FAQs first' sticky thread at the top of the forum in the first place, you would have seen all the info & links about...Debt Recovery Plus, of course, in the 'debt collector stage' section of it. And I make no apology for adding a yawn in the sticky thread about the two most covered subjects and begging people NOT to start new threads about (guess what)?

Not sure what else you are expecting of us - how many different ways can we say 'this is junk mail that people have ignored for years and there are thousands of threads to read here just like yours'. What else is MummyJenny expecting to read if she's read 'hundreds of threads'? I would hope the hundreds of threads were found after searching for a relevant word like Zenith, rather than randomly reading other threads, as that would just confuse.

You have no idea how amusing that is, laughing about it is better than screaming!! Please not yet another new thread about DRP and Zenith letters...not before reading the NEWBIES FAQs sticky thread at least, and please, please search the forum, your queries are crying out for you and MummyJenny to simply search!

Not only that, I see MummyJenny's PPC is 'merely' Euro (search this forum for 'Euro' as a keyword perhaps, as well, surely that's the first thing to do, not start a thread or post without reading what's here already). Having said that, MummyJenny got the advice she needed immediately in December - look at the first few answers, all done and dusted - so how things are still confusing now I don't understand, unless no 'forum search' has been tried yet to bore yourselves silly over other people's same old threads about these same old letters.

I got my first fake PCN from Euro Car Parks five years, or more, ago and laughed at it and all the letters that followed and I was no 'parking guru' in those days (I searched the MSE parking forum and learned quickly, just like most other regulars started out!). I have since had 3 more fake PCNs and that's why I am here to help people who need it. People with that junk mail letter chain do not need new threads or endless posts about every letter that arrives - nor any other advice than is already here so many times over I can't even begin to explain. Which is why I wrote the NEWBIES thread in the first place...how many times can we write the same thing.

  • How was it "done and dusted" in December? My partner is still being hassled and it's a big stress in this house.

I'm sorry that I don't know as much about it as you but iv not done this before.

I think I will be using the link above to get the help I need and I just feel judged and "told off" here.

You do sound like someone who could pay the £16, if KIFL and co will take a case on at debt collector stage because you are too late to appeal.

Of course it was done and dusted - you had the right advice in your first 2 or 3 replies, and as completely expected with this scam, you are getting junk mail. People have ignored that same junk mail for YEARS. Look, this was the situation in 2010 when Crabman started a popular thread to show pics of and laugh at these letters, it includes pics of DRP and Zenith letters going back several years, and a well-documented joke about their fake signatories being a woman on one letter and a man on another:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2329119

And even after four years, that thread is still one of the 'parking stickies' at the top of this forum, so I have to assume you've already seen that gallery of pics (obviously a few links no longer work as the letter chain is SO OLD that these images are ancient). So what's the problem - play SNAP with the letters. As I said, none of us here started out as some sort of parking expert and almost all of us have laughed at a similar pile of junk mail re a fake PCN. We are not telling you to do anything we haven't done ourselves.

You missed POPLA, so what?! POPLA never used to exist and the sjy didn't fall in on those of us who ignored this drivel then. It won't happen now either. The replies had already told you all this in December - nothing has changed. What do you want people to say differently?

Have you actually searched the forum yet...please do, it's pointless not reading VERY similar cases, and the sticky threads. The word 'Recovery' or the word 'Zenith' as a keyword finds umpteen results, all from worriers who have of course not paid, and been reassured by the replies, and are now laughing at each colourful threatogram. You need to read all the thousands of other threads by people getting the same boring junk. Are you and the above poster also scared of phishing emails? Of course not, you delete them and laugh at them. How is this junk mail different? 'A big stress'...ermmm they are letters....hassle? Yes, it's harassment but then again the NEWBIES thread tells you to 'appeal anyway' if you think you are too late to appeal and the template letter includes an assertion that it's harassment. If you want to feel empowered then respond to the PPC and tell them. It won't stop the junk mail but makes you feel better perhaps.

Complain to the retailer then if it was a retail site , or to the landowner if not. But then we've already suggested that ages ago - as do the sticky threads.

Now onto other threads where posters actually do need help from us on the forum...oh wait, here's todays batch starting:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4939620

    Hmmmm.

Anyway, threads like this are more interesting:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/63774734#Comment_63774734

    https://www.flickr.com/photos/89511704@N03/8145428304/

Notice anything familiar about the letter collection this poster has accumulated, taken the mick out of and finally robustly responded to and complained to the landowner? Yep - it's DRP drivel about a fake PCN, all computerised templates designed to frighten and intimidate - and despite your two page thread which really WAS done and dusted with the first replies, the aim of this scam is still working with you, which is a shame five months later. When I collected a letter chain ages ago, I enjoyed receiving my letters because I found their use of bold font and colourful text desperate and amusing - and I still carry the letters in my handbag to show colleagues who get a fake PCN themselves. I work in a school with a clean CRB check and was a Bank Manager once so know about not risking my credit rating as well. These letters are nothing, please believe us.

Your only mistake was to miss the POPLA chance to stop the letter chain, that's all. Don't make another mistake now by not taking on board what we've all said. IGNORE THE DRIVEL OR RESPOND BUT IT WON'T STOP YET. Again I say, so what? they are rubbish template letters!

This is another good post today, relevant to you as well:

    :T funny!

I really hope the penny is beginning to drop.
