  • Done my last shop of the month tonight at aldi with the 5 off voucher. Came to 43.93. That means I am just sneaking in under budget but as I usually round up to the nearest pound I will declare at 250/250 for January.

Tbh I had hoped to come in well under this month and use things up, but these money off vouchers encourage me to stock up. Must try harder to resist next month. See you in February.

    Hi all :)

I'm not doing too good. I'll sit down and add up my envelope of reciepts later, but sure i'll be around £50 over budget this month.

Spent £39 in Ald! today and £9 in Mr A. Annoyed i couldnt get a paper with the Ald! voucher last week as i was too poorly to leave the house :( didnt expect to spend so much there this week tho.

A few other spends to report to: £5 on cleaning products in Savers and £16 on top up bits for my DP's days off in Mr Ts.

Another NSD although it almost ended up not being. We were out when we decided we were hungry and very nearly succumbed to visiting a cafe. Managed to talk our selves out of it and come home for lunch.
Tea was chicken in lemon sauce with rice. Thought we had some lemon sauce sachets in but must have used them - thank goodness we had some lemons in so made my own.
