Quick post before I run out the door for dinner with a friend (at her house, so no spend involved).
Another NSD for me today:D
I chucked a bunch of veg and lentils in a pot when I got home from work this eve, to use them all up before they go off! Soup now cooked and cooling - will freeze when I get home tonight for lunches etc next week. Might put it through the food processor first - there was a lot of celery in there and it was a tad uninteresting... but will jazz it up laterRed lentils, spring onions, a dead carrot, lots of celery - and will add herbs later to use those up too.

Unplanned £30.43 spent in Mr. S yesterday. Went in to buy the £8 Thai meal for two that we wanted to treat ourselves. Oh well - it wasn't mad shopping - we stocked up on chicken, salt (OH likes a brand that only Mr. S sells), dishwasher tablets (on offer). Also got some spices for OH and some snacks for LO.
One more weekly shop till the end of the month and £33 left. Hope we can do it.Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

year's food budget £1,9200 -
Yahoo! I made it through January & although I'm not up to date with my receipts, I think we came in on budget as haven't had to raid any other 'pots'! Today is the start of my shiny new month!
Taken the £140 cash out of the bank this morning for February's challenge. I am going to try & keep up to date with recording my receipts from now because although they do eventually get recorded, they do sometimes spend ages in my purse, handbag or filing!!
Got to do the weekly shop today. Went to Sainsburys before work this morning because they still have Mullerlights on special offer. Spent £6 on 2 Pepsi Max & 14 yogurts. Intention was to then buy remainder from Aldi this afternoon but got a till spit for £1.50 off £15 again from Sainsburys. Therefore I might buy some from Aldi & some from Sainsburys! Cost dependent!
