    Ooh I'm up for that!!

Ive just realized my favourite jeans have a hole in the knee :( looks like I'll be fiximg them tonight as I haven't even had them a year :(

Going to be asking for money for my birthday (march) for new bras which I desperately need (been fixing the underwire for over a year now and they are such a bad fit) and a pair of sandals for summer. Birthday money off family won't be counted towards my challenge total (unless its from my husband as we share our money).

Off to get dd1s feet measured today so that may set me back if she needs new shoes for school...

  • Have just received some clothes I ordered from H&M after Christmas. £22 in total for a jacket, jersey dress and jumper dress. I'm going to include that spend in my £100 target as they did arrive in 2014.
I'm very happy about the jacket, have been after a biker jacket for ages but couldn't find a cheap one.

    That makes me £22/£100

I have been to the charity shop and bought 3 skirts and 4 tops for £7. I can't see any other way I'm going to keep to £120 for the year and wanted something new-to-me for some meetings coming up.
Spend less now, work less later.

Yes I remember "Freedom Fridays" :)

I actually "freed" a woolly beret hat that I found lurking at the back of my undie drawer yesterday and found it changed my look completely - It was from J&ne N0rm&n, think I bought it several years ago in on of the sales.

Am still wearing it while I sit and type this at home!

Had a great success yesterday ;I found the ever elusive long boots I have been searching for years for.

Knee length Black leather riding boots with low heel, nice shiny "lock" detail dangling from the side - my size too! Reduced in sale at TKM&X from £79.99 to £21 - what a result! I used some of Xmas money from my Dad to buy them so he will be pleased to know I've actually got what I needed.

This means I can see me wearing a lot more of my dresses and skirts a lot more over the rest of the winder and into Spring! So I will definitely be freeing up more clothes from my wardrobe!:T

  • I found this challenge brilliant last year. Really made me think about what I was spending. I'm going to set a bit of a higher budget this year as I think I'll need to replace shoes and boots. I'm going to go for £365 and fess up to £20 in the sales on a pair of work trousers.

Been good so far but doing the basket dance with a pair of ted baker jeans, half price in the John Lewis sale. Also I got £36 vouchers as a Christmas bonus, can I have these as free money or should I count it in my £300 budget? Oh decisions.
  • I forgot to mention, since I also want to declutter this year I will only buy items I actually need/love/will wear and have to get rid of two things for every one I buy.
