The Completely Crazy 2014 Clothes Challenge

Hi all,
Almost made it to August, but then I bought a lovely M&S top from a charity shop £2.
So I'm still in, not sure how long I will last on £13
My birthday is soon though, so any money I'm lucky to get for that will eke it out a bit.
Being a Leo frugality is not in my nature:rotfl:
But I'm actually quite pleased that I made it this far, even if I don't get much further.
I'm hoping I don't have to bow out, because joining this has really helped me.:T
I no longer waste so much money on clothes that don't end up being worn- YAY!:cool:0 -
I bought a jumper from M&S in their sale, for £21
That makes £66/£300 until 31/07/2014
That's better than I ever dreamed !Early retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -

Had a little mishap with the scissors - oops! cut my nightie when I was sewing! Have appliqued a cute little patch on it - looks great and I feel so virtuous (ok I look like wee-willie-winkie!) Never thought that I'd be in the position of having to be so thrifty but it's sink or swim time!I'm the only one who is stopping me from achieving my goals! :wall:0

Reporting in that apart from the shoes out of my birthday money, I had a No Spend July :j
Am amazed how little I've bought this year and how not bothered I am by the latest colours/styles.
Will be dipping into the fund though for new school shirt for DS during August. His neck has grown - we're in boy to man stage
Well done everyone and thank you FedUp for running the challenge :TBack on the DFW Wagon:

#59 mothernerd - belatedly reporting in with a no spend July. Did look at some thick cotton tights in the neu look sale but wasn't fit enough to walk across town to see the actual product (if they had any in our branch). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0

Good Evening everyone
Well I had a splurge in T%p Sh%p the other day and spent £10 on a reduced from £36 long jersey dress in black , has a racer back but is filled in with heavy crochet type lace down through the shoulders blades- not my normal kinda thing and admittedly a impulse buy, something I don't often do, but it was screaming at me " look at how many times you could wear me and in so many ways too" ........and how many times have I worn it since?
None:o
So I have given myself a mini August challenge in that I have to wear it least once a week till the start of Sept and if I dont,I have to sell it. So will wear it this weekend come rain or shine!
On the plus side a friend passed on a huge bag of clothes destined to the CS but she knows I am still on my CCCC so I had a good rummage through and have added some great pieces to my wardrobe including
$ea$alt trousers and top
M &$ tops and skirts
1 boutique dress coat in a spring green with daisy print
1 boutique black and white dress and bolero matching jacket plus various other tops and trousers.
The problem is I will have to have another serious sort out of my stuff again else my clothes are going to take me over and I wont be in control.
Off to update my total
Catch you all soon and keep it up everyone -Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

Hi all, reluctantly spent £7 on a t-shirt yesterday -needed to replace damaged one to get use from several other items. It was reduced (?) though.
Total spend so far £15 from budget of £40 to end of challenge.I'm the only one who is stopping me from achieving my goals! :wall:0
