Hello, just popping on to declare some spends:

N3xt: £16 top but used a £15 gift voucher and HB gave me a pound so overall free to me :)

    G0 outdoors: £20 3/4ers for summer.

so overall £20 spent for the year - putting some items on ebay as we speak to keep 2014 cost neutral.

Day out shopping with mum yesterday. Bought some summer items for holidays this year and next and the year after.

I bought a holiday/ going out top which was an unusual colour for me but I really like the cut of the tunic. It goes in a the waist and is longer at the back giving it a modern style. It'll go rather nicely with my white cropped skinny jeans and I'll keep a look out for some yellow slim cropped trousers to go with it in the sales. Felt a bit guilty at spending £21 on it though even though it was reduced from £35. It's all these months of spending very little on clothes.

Then tried on some Sketchers trainers and fell in love with how comfy they were straight away. Looked on the website to find they had £15 off online, ordered them to collect in store, not paid for yet as need to try them on and check the fitting. Think they're the same pair from the shop but not sure.

Then ordered some half price sandals as I've been after a new pair for this year. Let's see how these fit when they arrive, the correct size in stick for once so that's a good start!

    Spends so far £45.99 plus trainers £39 = £84.99
Original cost was £139 for all

To ease my guilt about spending I'm going to neutralise the costs from my savings left over from saving up to pay the car insurance in full this year. I've worked out I can pay for all of these with the money left over.

Does this mean I count these spends or not?

Mum bought me a dress in the sales too reduced from £55 to £34 as she said it looked lovely when I tried it on. It's a black prom dress with a multi colour pattern in green, orange, red and white in 100% cotton and cotton lined. That will be good to wear to go out for a meal in or on holiday.

Woke up feeling guilty about spending but certainly better now I've worked out I can use the money left over from savings.

How's everyone else getting on at the end of June?

#59 mothernerd declaring another no spend month.
4 on the run - did declare in May (post #580) but not on list of May no-spenders. Have had a clothes cull this month so my wardrobe is very minimal - but I love everything I have and hopefully will have some money to spend by the time I drop another dress size. Still losing weight but ever so slowly 2lb every 4 weeks - keep telling myself it will still add up to another stone gone before Christmas.:rotfl:

Apologies for missing your post in May for no spenders. I'll update the list correctly tomorrow.

Well done for another no spending month too!

    July already!

Pleased to report another No Spend Month here :T

I have realised that previously, I'd have bought more summer clothes but we have less months of wearing them. That's why I've still got a decent amount in good condition then :D

No sandals purchased yet either - still got that £10 birthday money left from March. I reckon I can get by without this year.

Well done to everyone last month too.

No spend for June. Hooray! Need to lose some more weight so that more things fit that are a bit tight at the moment. Though the summer may well be over by the time that they do!

    Hi all,

It's been nice and warm here most days, so all the summer stuff being worn.:j

been shopping today as the elastic had gone loose in two of my bras.
So I bought two replacements £20 in Next. But not counting underwear, so I'm still in budget, by the skin of my teeth :D
