Well...there's not much to write when not spending anything, is there
But that's a good thing! If not for this challenge, I would have had a new jacket, sandals, sport shoes and plenty of summer tops by now... And do these new clothes ever change my life for the good? Nope.

I've bought my winter work shoes today using a 40% code last week to bring the price down from £55 to £33 for some pretty long lasting looking leather brogues to see me through the next 2 years at least.
I've been looking at them for the last few months and decided I should get them with the price code discount.
They'll need some breaking in so a good job there's a few months to go before they'll be needed!
Not a NSD month here but good to get the autumn winter shoes sorted at a good price.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

New challengers, that's what you get for being in the weekly email, welcome!
I bought a skirt and top using my M&S card that I won, so it doesn't count as spends. Still have £66 left on it which is just as well as my normal budget doesn't allow for any personal spends this month. Flipping car insurance.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

£10 spent in charity shops on 4 dresses for myself, a pair of shorts, a jacket for DS, 2 tops for DD2 and a school dress for DD1. Not bad.

I didn't manage no spend in may after all as I found the perfect wedges on holiday £25
so what's left of my original budget is now £15:eek:
to last 6 months- that shows me how unrealistic this budget was for me as I like nice clothes.
but I'm not going to up the budget yet, I will stick it out and see how long it lasts me.
summer should be ok but autumn/winter could be tricky.
I will use this year as a guideline to set a more realistic budget next year and still save hundreds compared to previous years.:cool:0 -
Used my M&S card again yesterday, so officially no spends, but I got a summer weight dressing gown and a new bra.Spend less now, work less later.0
