#19 also reporting with a No Spend Month for January. :j

I've been unsubscribing to emails from lots of clothes and shoes shops as this month progressed, so am pleased to not have succumbed.

Good luck to everyone for February. :)

  • Freedom Friday saw me wearing a 3/4 length sleeve black top I haven't worn for 3 years at least, underneath a pinafore dress :)

Aim for February: to 'shop' inside my wardrobe and create at least 2 'new' outfits a week :).

Well after trying really hard, I gave in and bought the jeans in the sale so that's £40. This makes my total £60 so far spent this year. Not buying anything else till the summer now! I Hope!

Well done to all the Jan NS achievements!! Really inspirational and well done. I think Jan is my worse month as too tempted by "sales". Anyhow, coming in to confess a £16 spend on a next jumper. I actually ordered it in the sale in Dec together with a pair of leather boots for £40 but they only came yesterday. The boots are going back as I really don't "need" them, but I do really love the jumper so am keeping it and adjusting my budget accordingly. I plan to put it away until Sept / Oct and I will have a lovely new jumper for next season!!

I may only be a few days into this challenge but you are having a positive influence on me already. Hovered over a few ebay purchases this weekend which were going for a great price, but stopped myself as I didn't "need" them. Saved me around £15.

This is going to be a steep learning curve for me I think. I need to change my shopping habits away from "bargain" mentality and more into what I actually "need" to enhance my wardrobe.

Goal for this week is to start the wardrobe sort out and get my "going going gone" bag set up to see what I might miss.

Good luck for Feb everyone. Stay strong & resist!! :rotfl:

There you go lavenderlover, front page updated now!

On a different note my wonderful mum treated me to some new essentials - undies, socks and vest tops all for work as my current ones are just about worn out. All meaning I can stick to a no spend day, blimey it worked out well today!

  • Hi
inspired by the no spenders and the fact that I only spent £3 in January I am going to try a no spend month :A

I've also had a couple of charity bags through the door which I have filled after having a bit of a sort out of stuff no longer wanted/fits etc. Still plenty left to choose from.

A few bits going on ebay too.
