Happy Freedom Friday!
I'm declaring a no spend month for January
For February I've decided I want a top and some shoes so currently raising e3ay funds as we speak.
Fantastic idea Kerri - my mum does something similar with my dad. She hides the clothes which she thinks don't suit him or are worn out/stained. If he hasn't noticed they're missing after a couple of months she sends them to charity or throws the bad ones away :rotfl::rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:

Will give that one a go. I know there are things I own like trouser suits and work wear that I just don't need anymore as now have a uniform for work. The problem with me is my "just incase" section which probably accounts for 70% of the space in my wardrobe!
I have some 'what if' tendencies too. I've been in my current job a fairly long time and we can wear casual clothes to the office so I don't really have any kind of separate work / home wardrobe. I've got a few bits of office wear, a couple of pairs of trousers (which I did use when I had to travel to Japan) and some shirts, but even in my last clear out I took a good look at some of it and thought 'even if I changed jobs, would I really wear this now?' ....so some went out.Happy Freedom Friday!

I use OH old t-shirts for cleaning rags - something I remember my mum doing with my dads, and some of my clothes as a kid (often she'd have to cut the motif off for me to keep me happy if it was a fav item that I'd outgrown)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

At the end of January, I have spent £0 of my budget. DH and I have lost a stone each, but not needed to get any new clothes. I had fun sorting through and there's a lot of size 20 and size 18 clothes going to charity shop and I've moved the 16s into my wardrobe! Am sure i will have to buy underwear soon though...
Maybe in March so I can have 2 months with outspending on clothes:DDFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debtnever attribute anything to malice which can be adequately explained by stupidity, [paranoia or ignorance] - ZTD&[cat]

Well done everyone!
I'm declaring a no spend January too - so pleased, don't think I have gone a month without buying clothes for a long time.
I recently gave loads of clothes away to charity shop as I just have so much stuff. Was all things that either are't my style anymore or just things that I never worn. I have also put some clothes away and am going to see if I have missed them in a few months time, as other people have suggested.0 -
