I don't do red, it HAS to be purple for me :D I am a purple person after all, remember the purple hair? My son bought me a purple plug to use with my iPad, my work mates sent me purple flowers with their condolence card you get the picture? :D

So 2b I will post my target after wi tomorrow if that's ok but it will be in purple.
Surprised you gave in to red Frogga, green is so your colour even though I have to read it with my purple glasses :rotfl:

Great to see MrsM back, I must be psychic. Now we can find out how Charlie boy is doing :D

My daughter is a purple person (she's not even 1 yet, so she doesn't really 'know' it :D), but she is kind of/sort of ish named after the colour purple, well Lilac really. Not really on purpose, it worked out that way and she looks really good in purple, too!

I'm colourblind, so struggle to see some colours. Just bold if you don't mind, it should be easier for me to see, but if everyone else can stick to red I would very much appreciate it - easier for me to keep up and update regularly x :)

Hi everyone! My friend has been telling me about slimming world and I think I would like to give it a go! She previously had great success with WW and lost over 5 stone but I just thought 'urgh, weighing stuff, and counting, and nothing is ever on the list!' so although I tried to follow vaguely I wouldn't do it. This sounds much easier!

I would like to lose weight mainly to be fitter and healthier, I ache, I injure myself easily, I feel unhealthy and heavy and just HORRID!! I also have a horse who would probably clip clop her little hooves together with glee if I could lose two stone (and being healthier equals less injuries from falls and hopefully better muscle tone to stay on!). There's nothing like a side-on riding pic to motivate you ;-)

The reason I am interested in SW is because I hear you can have carbs! I am a true carb lover and would live on bread if I had the option, with the odd crisp or potato here and there. I am also a lover of vegetables so it's not all bad.

I am quite sensitive, can't handle too much lactose so I have soya milk but I can eat cheese in moderation, and yoghurt. I am actually having a go at wheat free as well at the moment to see if that makes a difference, as my friend told me that would fit in with slimming world quite well (my trip to sainsburys yesterday was a true test of resolve but I did get some gluten free bread rolls). I don't eat loads of meat as I find it hard to digest especially things like mince but chicken is usually ok. Anything greasy or oily is not good but I'm assuming that's fine!! I often have linda macartney sausages and the like although this has now presented a gluten problem :-/

I was wondering what plan you all think might suit me. I do quite a lot of exercise really, 2-3 hours walking a day plus quite a lot of horse related manual labour!

I am a bit of an evening feaster! I often don't eat much and then at about 3 or 4 o'clock it can often go rather wrong. I am trying to improve on this as I know it is pretty bad for cravings!

I was doing well today until the incident with the chocolate reindeer :'-(

I think I may go to one meeting to get some books etc but I am poor so probably online mostly. Also I don't see any benefit in group weighing personally, although maybe I'll change my mind!

    I weigh about 15st at the moment :-( I am 5'11 so about a size 18. I think 2 stone is a reasonable target for now :-)

    My supper is hot chocolate.

I feel mightily ashamed, just had a big bust up with someone close to me and went on a minor binge (I swear 'emotional overeater' would be a valid epitaph for me).

HOWEVER, this time last week it would have been a crate of beer and a takeaway, tonight it was about 12 syns so I am not going to beat myself up over it, simply batch cook some super low syn foods tomorrow and stick to them and fruit for the next couple of days.

Evening troops. Welcome all those new to the thread.

I've had a lovely lazy day today. All caught up on my recorded Danish dramas Borgen & The Bridge (and excited for the new Bridge starting tomorrow night). Then I spent the late afternoon/eve playing a board game with son #3, who soundly trounced me fair and square. The weather has been far too mad to go out and do anything that's for sure.

Food has been on plan, and enjoyable today.
    EE day:
B - Apple, banana, satsuma, muller Greek yog 1/2 syn
L - super rice, ham, sainsburys Cumberland sausage 1/2 syn, mixed veggies, cabbage, ketchup 1 syn
D - baked potato, bacon, cheese 3 1/2 syncs, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, light dressing 1/2 syn, ketchup 1 syn
    Supper - banana, tinned apple 1 1/2 syncs, cream 3 1/2 syns
    HExA milk
    Total 12 syns

I didn't have a HExB, but figure I've had so much veg, including the baked spud skin, that I've probably had a good amount of fibre. I have to say my family are regretting me having cabbage in 3 meals during the past couple of days :/ !!

My supper felt really naughty, and was delicious. I figured it'd be more filling and nutritious than a curlywurly.

Here's hoping for a weekend fully on plan :D

Hello chaps (and little green things)

I'm properly missing the chat on here.. it's very motiviating!! It's been lovely reading everyone's enthusiasm :T

Anyway, I've got my M&S inspired meal plan all sorted for January and after looking at it properly it kind of fits with EE, so apart from the occasional late nights at work where I will take an M&S ready meal (10-17 syns dontcha know ) I think I can happily merge the two plans and work it to SW EE. I've never done EE before as I'm scared of too much salad and veg but i'm determined to try this year!

It was the green/red thing that I couldn't work with anymore with OH not fitting in with my plans (rude :rotfl:) but now I think i'll fit in better with his plans so that'll work.. until I get sick of veg!!

So fresh start if that's ok.. :o sorry for changing my mind!
