    Morning!

Welcome Msgnomey, Mildredd, that pain must be hellish, hope you get it sorted soon

1 1/2 off for me 2b, Total for challenge 10lb. A bit disappointed that I didn't make the full stone but it's the longest I have stuck to a plan for years so :j

    2b hope you are ok.

gotta run, have a good day

2 Belvita Breakfast fruit & fibre - counting as hexb as no one contradicted me last time.

I'm afraid I would have contradicted you had it registered! They aren't a HEB and are 3 syns each. However, a saving grace is that each HEB equates to 6 syns, so if you haven't had one your syns are still the same. Just make sure you eat plenty of fiberous free foods as well to carry it all through and if it's just a one off you'll be fine Xx

Good luck, hope you like it. It's great when you get all the books and you are all fired up and ready to go, want to read everything and go shopping for the right foods. Wish I could feel that motivation every week ;)

    Morning all :)
*yawns* blimey it's early for me! I had an 8am doctors appt and I managed to have breakfast and a drink before I headed out which I was pleased about- the old me would have just rolled out of bed, washed, dressed and went! I have to nip out later and get my sick note photocopied and then pop to the post office so I might go for a walk if the wind holds off. I managed a 2 mile walk yesterday in that horrific wind, came home feeling like I had had one heck of a workout! :D I tried my dress on last night and felt a bit downhearted- I think I look fat in it :( but I think I might be able to solve that with some smaller magic pants :D the ones I have are a 16-18 and they fit if you see what I mean so I need some that are a bit smaller so will hold me in better. However if they solve the problem my dress is going to need more work than I thought which is utterly frustrating
    Today's menu plan:
B: Smoked salmon and scrambled egg :D (this was lovely- OH jokes I've gone posh!) pint of NAS cordial
L: SW pasta carbonara with HEXA laughing cow light blue cheese, bowl of steamed mixed veg, 2 kiwis, pint of NAS cordial
T: mushy pea curry, Uncle Ben's golden veg rice (2.5 syns) Mullerlight, 1/2 syn jelly pot, pint of NAS cordial
S: Tikka MugShot (these are lovely- slightly addictive but very filling!!) - 2 syns
Snacks will be HEXB HiFi Rocky Road and Alpen Light Cherry Bakewell. Also synning the milk in my coffee and scrambled egg- 2.5 as not much. I've also got the option of yesterday's popcorn if I'm still hungry- I resisted it yesterday but bumped my syns up with a jelly pot and a Tikka MugShot (and I still only had 9! I was very good yesterday- hopefully I can repeat that today!)
Syns: 7.5 (although that may increase to 13.5 if munchies strike :rotfl:)
Body magic: planned 4 mile walk if weather doesn't jinx- if it does will do same as yesterday and half walk half bike.
Have a good day everyone xx

I must consider myself really lucky after all my experiences and dramas. I'm at a size that I struggled for years to get to but only achieved because of stress and the unexpected curves my life took for some time. My challenge now is to maintain my new size. My friends tell me that I will return to my previous soon if I don't try to maintain good diet.
Freebiz – I can totally relate to you. I lost a lot of weight in when my Dad was ill about 3 stone it was about two years before it started to pile back on again - all off a sudden I started to balloon and found myself at my heaviest ever at 16.13. So I would say yes, be careful as it could come back on and if your unlucky like me you could see more stones added to that. At the time I was living of cereal bars, cigarettes and then a takeaway in the evening – I was so unhealthy and wasn’t in the greatest of places at all.
SW is a really healthy way of eating and I’d personally encourage you to join in here. You’ll find loads of help and advice from all the lovely posters. I’m now below the weight I was when I lost the weight unhealthily and am 2 lbs lighter than when I graduated Uni when I was 21! You’ll see from my signature I’ve a bit to go yet but as I’m slowly starting to realise now - Rome wasn’t built in a day, I’m proud of my achievement so far and if I take a leisurely stroll to target then that’s ok with me! Keep posting your very welcome xx

Bet you enjoyed that time in New Look J ! They have some lovely things coming in at the min for spring. Really looking forward to buying some new spring clothes – just have to raise some funds by getting some of the too big ones on Ebay! Have had a bag sat of 20s & 18s ready since before Christmas – so my mission for the weekend is to list at least 5 items!! I’m really hoping its warm this summer so I can buy some lovely new dressy shorts. I love the shorts and blazer look for going out. Last year I just kept covered up all summer as I was miserable with my size. You sound really excited and positive about your course – which is great. New Directions J
I would say a 2 mile walk in that weather was like a flippin workout lol.

Don’t get disheartened! A one lb loss is great:T and you’ll maybe get a bigger loss next week. Sadly it doesn’t come off us the way we would like in even amounts – keep at it and I bet you will see a bigger loss next week.

Welcome! Keep posting and let us know how you get on!

Well done on your 2 mile walk in the freaky weather!! & Congrats on your fab loss J:T
    Mildredd & Amber
I’m exactly the same with clothes – they seem to get drastically bigger overnight lol  I’ll be very excited when these 14’s dramatically appear too big – quite roomy at the min all of a sudden - mind you. Sadly my fingers haven’t gone down much at all – I suffer from water retention in my hands and they are usually like sausages most days L

Well, was a bit bold last night. After getting hardly any sleep the night before with my gum infection, I was cold, tired and grumpy !! Not a good combination for me at all!! Was too tired to cook and hadn’t really anything in so ended up at the garage on the way home. Ended up buying two pasties at 12 syns each and had those for t! Anyway its done now.
So wi today, not feeling hopeful for a loss - a sts would do me – everything kind of went to pot from Tuesday when I started feeling unfeel and the superfrees were totally abandoned!! :eek:Anyway have decided to put less pressure on myself as I am feeling great about how I look at the minute and am happy with my progress so far – so if I stroll to target that’s fine with me. :jEverythings ok apart from this belly and it does seem to be on the shrink – I’m sure the gym will help! Booked myself in for Kettlebells on Friday night!! Out to do the shopping tonight and will get a meal plan sorted today. Have a great day folks xx

Please-let-me-be-lucky, thanks for the heads up about the Belvita. I suspected as much :( I knew they were 3 syns each, about same as hexb, and because they were fibrey, I was crossing my fingers! Ho hum, I've counted them twice (only once this week) as hexb, so not terrible, I suppose, but that brings yesterday up to 26.5 (oops) and I'm going out for lunch again tomorrow, so ........

And they are delicious! That should have been the big clue!

Lantanna, sorry to hear you've got a gum infection. I always think if there is something wrong with your mouth, it is really debilitating.

Well today is the day and I am off to join my first class at 12.00. Have to say I am really quite nervous

I'm sure you'll be fine and soon get to know some people. The first week can be a bit overwhelming, so much to take in and don't know anyone but by next week you'll have a loss ad feel more part of it.

WI for me this morning and I

    gained a 1lb thanks 2b.

I'm OK with that as it means I've actually beaten my target of STS by losing half a pound overall. Considering all the off-plan meals I've had I'm happy. I'm below target still and so well within my range.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk
L: I'm going to concoct something based on eggs and veg and a bit of ham so probably a hash type thing with plenty of pickled cabbage with it. Can you tell it's the end of my shopping week?;)
    D: SW Bolognese
Syns: a chopped sundried tomato to flavour my hash and use up, maybe a scrape of Parmesan

Just looked and as I can have 95g of mince as a B, then my cheese can be free as I know my Bolognese is OK. So now it's become a Green day.

    lantanna, I love pasties.
  • Well it's taken 3 weeks of cold turkey and resisting last minute late night dash down to the shop before it closes, but the chocolate/cake/biscuit cravings have finally gone!!

Unfortunately so has my appetite in general. I'm trying to meal plan for starting my 2 night shifts tonight and everything I think of just seems a bit meh!
