  • I just went for a wander into town on my lunch break and there were Cadburys Cream Eggs at the till in the shop, I stood next to them for ages (queue) and very nearly picked one up. So proud of myself for resisting! I hate to think how many syns would be in them and they're so small now (anyone else think they get smaller every year?)

    Hellooooo Everyone

Can I come back :D:D. I fell off the wagon last year, no reason really, just life etc got in the way, DH started a new job with working away from home, shifts all over the place etc. He is now on a proper rota & I have now cut my hours back from 8-5 to 9-4 (with only 1/2 hour lunch). I bit the bullet & actually joined a class on 6th January as I need the motivation & it was just too easy to miss days here & there.

My first week I lost 4.5lbs but 2nd WI on Monday evening I put on 1.5, teacher was very shocked as was I because I had posted all my meals on my class FB page. Only thing I could think of was no bowel movement for 4 days & totm disappeared then reappeared 3 days later . I could have cried on Monday night, I really could have but my teacher is really good.

I was falling back into the trap of drinking wine every night, now its cut back to a Friday/Saturday only. I have not set a target, I am going to see how I go, I initially said 2 stone 9lbs (to myself) but at the same time, I don't want to look gaunt, so I am open minded at the moment.

I look forward to re-joining again & see some new & some old names. Good luck to everyone on your SW journey!

    Todays EE Plan:-

B- Frozen Berries with FF Nat Yoghurt
Lunch - Chicken with mayo (0.5 syns), salad with ff dressing, WW Pitta (HEB) strawberries, melon, kiwi
D - Spicy Indian Mince, Rice, broccoli & cauliflower (on the side)
Snacks/Syns - HEA - cheese & pickles, 1 syn for milk in tea & coffee, 5.5 syns for kit kat

Welcome back Macpep  nice to 'see' you again. I have to say your meal planner has been invaluable to me :T. Good luck with your new start at SW.

That sounds nice, will be tasty on wedges

That is great joanne, 12lbs! wow

Could someone please please tell me how to multi quote? I did click on the speech bubble icon and a tick came up but that is as far as I got.

You are doing the right thing in clicking the speech bubble - just click on each post you want to multi-quote on (maximum of three I think) and then click on the main 'post reply' button at the end of the thread. This should give you all the posts you want to quote on in the normal 'reply to thread' box. Sounds a bit complicated but hope that helps ;)

    Another 6lbs off today:D. I can't believe I lost 12lb in 2 weeks.

Well done everyone on your losses

Off to the local Italian for tea Friday can anyone recommend what to have for main? Going to have melon for starter but all the meat on the main seems to come with sauce so a bit stuck.

Well done on your loss! Any tips for people like me who are struggling?

    Good afternoon all

    Hope everyone is well.....
well done on the losses everyone and chin up to those struggling...

Weighed in this morning and pleased to see a 3lb loss :j and I only had 5 days this week after last weeks scale faff.... so thats 17lbs in 3 weeks :j....

So here is to starting another week.... I have been and got some WW meals for my lunches -not thrilled at using ready meals -but well at least I will get something down me... Farmfoods have them in at 5 for £4 -so I have some of those and then Im getting some from tesco on at £1 so I have a decent variety.... the ones I have vary from 4-5.5syns so not bad at all really....

Scary -Nope you aren't a fruit loop-I keep myself to myself too Ok Im a wee bit anti-social :rotfl:. What is it with sisters then??? I keep myself to myself and yet 1 of my sisters was a right ole "life n soul" gal. God she used to tell the whole world her goings on and never gave a chuff what anyone thought of her:p. Life seems very quiet without her :( -guess I got the "quiet" genes...

I seem to be in quite a strange place at the moment -I have no interest in food at all  -It's not that Im not fancying what I know I "should" eat -I don't even fancy anything else either ??? Another reason Im hoping the WW meals will work -no need to think about food and because Im not particularly hungry they are filling enough too...

pooler-leanne -yep cream eggs are tiny... same as wagon wheels used to be HUGE and curly wurly's used to be like ladders -now everything is teeny tiny...or is it just that Im bigger :rotfl:

Sorry to post n dash but the little one is calling ...hopefully I can catch up with more chat later.... have a great afternoon all

I would have something with a tomato based sauce - is it a local place? or national? we could look at the menu & make suggestions?
