    Hi guys

Have tried to read back but only skim read as mini me might wake up any minute!

Lost 1.5lb last night, not bad considering a binge on snack a jacks (of all things!!!) & full fat lasagne & trifle round MIL!

Still really struggling this time around - didn't think it would be this hard with a baby! & I don't think I'm in the right frame of mind either!

    Sorry for a rant xxx

I could have wrote that post myself, I find anything so hard second time round, SW and WW. I even tried slimfast but couldn't stick to it.

I lost my weight so quick after having my daughter who is 1, but in the last 6 months I have put a stone on - I do have thyroid problems and have the injection, wonder if it is anything to do with that?!?!

Well done on your weight loss, I just pick pick pick and pick some more lol.
  • ETA - Edited to add :D

Estimated time of arrival I though it was!! :rotfl:
  • Soreen is deffo 4syns per 26g slice as a previous poster thought.

I make syn free rice pudding by cooking pudding rice in no added sugar cream soda on the hob until it's absorbed. When it's cooled slightly I mix a coconut flavour muller light into it (any flavour will do though). I have mine with strawberries in lieu of a big splodge of jam!!!

Alternatively, you can cook the pud rice in boiling water and sweetener, then you can add your HEA of milk when the water is absorbed and then continue to cook gently until the milk is absorbed too. If I do it this way, I sometimes add an options sachet to make it a chocolatey rice pud (2-3syms depending on the options sachet. Xx

Thanks for that, great help for me :)

Hi lantanna - thanks for your reply :)

I only had about 1.5 stones to lose and it took me about 6 months - I have been at target for just over a year now.

I have thought about lowering my target but I am down to a size 8 now (I am 5' 4" and weight 8st 3lb) so really don't want to lose anymore, like maman says, I think I would look to scrawny .

I don't go to group but rely on you lovely lot here for support :T.

As I just said in my previous post, I have started to have a few meals 'off-plan' at the weekends - if that seems to work I will carry on for a while but keep things in check if the weight starts to creep back on.

Thanks to everyone for the good advice - have a great day all :)

Wow - 8stone something and 5.4! I'm 5.4 and currently 12.2 - started at 16.13!! My goal is 9.13 but if I get to 10.7 and I like it I might just stay there lol.

I would definitely go with giving yourself the weekends off or even two nights out of the three and see how that goes.

I can understand the not wanting to get too scrawny - I think there is definitely a fine line and it can be aging if you get too thin. (No danger of this ever happening to me lol)

Tbear - sts better than a gain

Nessie- Well done - I'm sure its hard with a new born so you are doing fab - as Beanie says just keep plodding

Thank you! I have big plans to ram it with tomatoes, celery, carrots, mushrooms, onions and peppers to SF it up as much as possible, not made a SW one before, my old one has bacon and a glass of red wine in :( I suppose if I trim the bacon and get 4 portions out of it, it wouldn't be too bad...

I put bacon and red wine in mine too, love bolognaise that way :)

Nessie you are doing amazingly well considering the fairly recent arrival of little one - how old is she now?

Thanks everyone - I'm finally letting myself relax a bit about it - weight loss is not a race & everyone does say I need to enjoy time with Rebecca than worry about my weight too much - I'm awfully hard on myself though

Rebecca is 16 weeks old  where has the time gone?

Not only is breast feeding making me hungry but I have gone onto the injection again as I don't want another LO anytime soon! I think the injection helped me put on the original weight too :(

I'm just struggling with snacking when I'm home with baby!
  • My daughter had the bar in and it made her gain loads of weight.

(I had an ablation 2 years ago so I have no issues like that any more thank goodness as my life was miserable before that...)
