Starting back Jan so count me in. Not weighing yet, may as well complete the damage 1st!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

My ex consultant has posted on facebook that there is a free sw membership in Woman tomorrow which lasts for 2 weeks.

Thanks for starting the new thread fe. You're a star!:)
On the whether to go to group question. I think it depends on the group! I have a 'nice but dim' consultant who's pleasant enough but very monotonous, not very motivating and useless at getting a discussion going during Image Therapy. The discussion, advice, tips, support.....on here is far better.:D:A I'm a target member and I go to group every few weeks, partly to keep me on track with weighing (NEVER weigh at home) partly to keep up with old friends and partly so I can maintain access to website. What I'd advise anyone planning to go it alone to do is go to a group ONCE, have the talk, get the books and then come on here. I think then perhaps I'd go to Boots or similar any weigh in once a week.
I'm off out to lunch today at La Tasca. Not my decision so I'll just make the best choice I can. Today's the first day for a while I've got up and not had a dicky tummy. I think food is returning to normal, more SFs being consumed, less rubbish (refused crisps last night;)). I've put an outfit on today, last worn on 22nd. It looks OK but feels a bit tight. I can feel my head gradually getting back on plan. All I need now is for my mouth and stomach to follow!:rotfl:0 -
Thanks Maman - have been 'umming & ahhing' about going back to class and your post has just clarified what I'm thinking, there's a class being held locally tomorrow, so will go and see how I feel. In the meantime, I need to put a padlock on the food cupboards :rotfl:0

Hi another new member here and i would like to think i will still be here at the end of 2014 and not drop away when the going gets tough. I struggle with going to group - i can not abide all of the inane clapping. We have three consultants within driving distance - one has little personality and is unable to inject any enthusiasm into the class - another is like a hyper childrens entertainer with a fixed smile and the last is quite good but the class is so large that weigh in and image therapy take hours. I will be going to the latter but not until after my birthday in January.
Meanwhile I will be on here hoping to find and eventually bring some inspiration. The Boots weigh in sounds like a good idea.So you're Red John? I have to say I'm a little disappointed.0 -
 Count me in!
Currently 34 weeks pregnant and although I wasn't following SW I have managed to keep my weight gain at sensible levels. Baby is due to be induced early and once I have caught my breath I will be doing SW with a vengeance
I have dug out the books and am making changes already so I will follow this thread with interestTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Morning All
Another green day for me today. Had a yummy plate of fruit for breakfast and an avocado at 9 syns:eek:
Ordered my sainsbobs delivery last night. Loads of fruit and veg and no carp whatsoever, hoping that if it's not in the house I won't want it. That's the theory anyhow.:rotfl:
Still got christmas cake and bits left not sure wether to eat them gradually and syn them or just bin them. Binning goes against all my money saving principles though so really not sure.
Manchild will dispatch most of it but he doesn't like cake. Maybe I'll find a deserving cause to give it too
Hugs to those that need them

Post Christmas weigh in - -1.5lb
not sure how or why
I've stuffed and been off plan most of the week even my on plan days have included chocs and Pringles and dip.
I'm guessing its because I have been eating grapes and clementines with every bit of 'bad'? But honestly no idea xxx
