I sparingly stitched DD's blazer, just a few strategically places stitches and the hem seems to be staying put
WMx3 done, just about to put the last load on the maiden to dry. I also did a big roast dinner, plenty of left overs for tomorrow
The rest of my day has been spent getting information from various sources (read: 2 old diaries which weren't patchy, last years diary which wasn't used properly so only had some information in, an academic diary I've been trying to use but I just can't get to grips with it, last years calender & DD's school planner for school dates) and putting it into this years diary. Its all there now, and I'm just colour coding the year planner part so I can see at a glance when work commitments/birthdays/anniversaries/school holidays are. I'm trying to be more organised this year so I don't forget birthdays etc.
DD has just made her bed now its shoe cleaning, lunch making, bath & bed for her.I need to make plans for tomorrow, looking forward to getting back into a routine
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hello All

Boddy - hope your DD gets sorted soon - being unwell for any length of time is debilitating in itself.
Rest of washing ironed and on maiden (to get 'bone' dry;))
Uneaten, and increasingly brown, bananas have been converted into a fat free banana cake.
Ah well - in six weeks it'll be half term.

I'm so glad everyone else seems to have had a low-flying day today too... As a newbie I was expecting to login today and find you'd all done loads and make me feel
as I hardly managed a thing!!
I awoke with best intentions but then FIL rang and asked if we'd go with him to collect new pup...2 hours drive away!! So that has been the best part of the day and now I've sat down my get-up has gone! ...pup is cute though, 8 week old German shepherd, all feet and ears bless him!Happiness is not getting what you want - it's wanting what you have

Evening!
We're all set for morning, DD quite excited to see her uniform laid out. DS said he will see if she's ok at playtimeshe can play with him and jack, apparently
Been out most of day but did a couple of hhc once we were home. Emptied DW, did a marathon putting away session, fed littlies, got my work stuff together, found weatherproofing spray so tackled school shoes, checked wellies are labeled. Think we might need those this week
Washed kids bedding this morning, that's dry and ready to put away.
DD has been coughing tonight. Hoping its just a tickleshe's been warned again about sleeping in her own bed
"See" you tomorrow xBossymoo

Hi babychick
The idea is to keep on top during the week, then we can take the weekend off!
I think I've done everything I wanted to today, including a walk around town with DD whose phone is on the way out.
Christmas packed away here too, and all ready for tomorrow!
Good wishes to all returning to school tomorrow, whether staff or students! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Put important dates in central household diary
Sorted out some clothes for recycling
Packed school bags, PE kit bags
Emptied all bins
