Been deleting emails and old files, only made a tiny dent and need a break now so a drink of water and then window cleaning. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Ventured out briefly to buy petrol, and a few bits in supermarket, where the car park flood has subsided. It's still raining, so I don't suppose it will be long before it's flooded again.
At home, made soup with last of turkey stock, and did a bit of prep for school; still haven't actually planned lessons in detail, but know what I'm going to do.
Washed main bedroom bed linen and will do a bit of a declutter in wardrobe I think....
It's so miserable here, I just want to pull the curtains, and hibernate. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Evening all
Roxy - Happy Birthday!!
I've been busy today. Had an unplanned lie in, washed my hair, chased DD in bath, watched Martins programme from last night while ironing (It's all gone until I do more washing:j), jumped in the bath and was ready to leave when ex arrived so I did catch a lift to town
:rotfl:
While in town I got DDs bus pass (£80  but cheapest option, except walking which is not an option, as its valid until April 11th and she can use it during half term when she gets back from Ex's wedding), then hit a number of shops in quick succession to check out sale stuff but I wasn't impressed so I kept hold of my money:money:. Bought some more 'B@r Keepers Friend' from L@keland, which is invaluable when it comes to cleaning the whiteboard in my kitchen, found my tinted moisturiser on sale in Sup3rdrug for <£2 so stocked up on that, bought a diary and a journal then walked home via the fruit & veg stall at the market.
All good news for this years resolutions :j
Since I got in I've done some paperwork, and caught up with online stuff. DD is taking down all her Christmas decorations, all the ones downstairs are done, she's just finishing off her room. I'm going to sit and do my diary soon, but first I'm going to go and make some tea. I'm thinking pizza. We haven't had homemade pizza in agesThen I think we might just have to sit down and watch Dr Wh0 from Christmas Day as I 'wasn't allowed to watch it' until DD was home :rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Happy Birthday Roxy. Hope you're having a lovely day.
The weather's horrid here as well. It isn't motivating me to do anything much. Cleaned the kitchen this morning and then went out round DIY stores, the chemist for DH's prescription and then to the farm shop for some veg.
This afternoon I have been sorting things out on my computer so a few essentials done.0 -
Happy Birthday Roxy
.
Finished my 3 nights, have 2 off now and then back in for 3. Feeling rough today and I think that my stomach is very unhappy with everything which has been shovelled into it recently. Will need to get onto the 5/2 for a couple of months.
Lounge is a disaster, DS has bought a lego shop and it has exploded all over our floor .
Will see what I can achieve if I feel better tomorrow.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

Hi! Welcome to the nuthouse!
I've had a swift kitchen cleanup after dinner as we trashed it baking buns and flapjacks
This afternoon we've played Lego, Humpty Dumpty Jenga, bowling and golf on the wii and raced remote control toys (car vs fire engine). Very important jobs
My bed is stripped and remade, I'll do the kids in a mo, we have a DVD on now in my room. DS wants a quick snuggle then I'll go sort beds. Then I shall be scrubbing little teeth. They've had lollies and flapjacks today  mr dentist would freak out!Bossymoo

Stripped our bed and washed this morning, just finishing off in TD
Steam mopped all the tiled floors
Dailies done
Small pile of ironing to do after tea...OH treating us to a Chinese tonight so night off the cooking for me !
Hope everyone's having a peaceful weekend before school/work on Monday!Happiness is not getting what you want - it's wanting what you have

Evening,
Please can you all search your hot spots and find my guag as it is missing, once found please retrun to me with a kick up the b um!
Work done, lashed down with rain.
Anti b's still being taken, 5 days gone, 15 to go, and I am really struggling to take 4 a day, plus eating 4 times a day as well, on the so called plus side, I have lost 5 lbs, I know I need to loose weight, but didn't really want to do it this way. I might ring the dr's Monday and ask for advise........I now have an elbow bone I can feel, so the anti b's are doing their job.
Going to cuddle the cat and feel sorry for my self, while you all look for my guag!!
Hi to all newbies

Maybe it's the antibiotics that have stolen your guag. They never make you feel the best. Perhaps you need to listen to your body and rest a while and then when you're well again your guag will magically reappear. Fingers crossed. In the meantime be very gentle with yourself and take great care.0 -
Happy Birthday Roxy :bdaycake:
A bit of a crazy day here with kids being a pain in the backside. Between fighting and huffing I give up, thank goodness it's bedtime.
Outside light fixed so DD can see where she's going on Monday morning. Boys all had their hair cut by me, not looking too bad.
Lots of rubbish gathered up outside and some from inside all binned.
Ozzy spent his first night in his new dog house last night and I think he likes it. He has even more hairloss this morning hopefully it will settle or he'll be bald by the time we go to the vet again.
