As I read him a bedtime story tonight he said "please don't do any housejobs tomorrow, I want to do fun stuff with you instead!" So maybe I do spend more time flying these days than I should

Aww I have the same here (hugs) they're not little for long X

The sun is shining! All of a sudden, I feel far more energetic and positive.

    Plan for today:
    1. Plan lessons this morning.
    2. Go for a walk before it starts raining again.
    3. Clear away cards, tree and decorations, followed by
    4. Vacuum downstairs!
    5. Sort school stuff for tomorrow
    6. Cook roast dinner - not lunch today as DS2 working, and he wants a proper Sunday dinner before he returns to Uni and imminent starvation (yeah, right. I know he's a good cook!)
    7. Start the lace border of the neck scarf/mini shawl I'm knitting

Kazwookie - was this Thailand? We finally managed our trip there in August, having saved like mad for ages, and had the most brilliant two weeks. Not near long enough, but had to be back for A level results etc.

    Morning all

Been knitting and reading in bed so far. Getting up now for breakfast and I'll do 15 minutes emails whilst I eat it. Realise now that short bursts are more successful than longer stints.

Eldest was sick in the night....I'm seriously regretting buying bunk beds now. So as well as being up with him I had youngest usual wake ups to deal with. I'm fit for nothing today other then feeding people and doing 2 lots of washing argh not a good last day to the hols really

    Morning all.

Easy morning so far here. DD has apparently sorted her school bag out and just needs to make her packed lunch. I've just remembered I need to do a minor repair on her blazer (hem has dropped so the lining is showing) so I'm going to do that in a minute then get on with putting stuff in my diary while the WM does its thing. ;)

I'm planning on doing a roast dinner today to use up some of the leftover Christmas stuff as my freezer is overflowing and I want to be able to fit in some other batch cooking stuff other than bolognese. The problem with most of the recipes I have is they feed 4 and there's only the 2 of us, so instead of just dividing it up between us, I'm going to freeze 2 portions instead if possible. This should also mean less reliance on take-away when I'm busy working. I'm thinking today I might even cook enough to leave leftovers for tomorrow nights tea as well. ;) Just realised we haven't cut the Christmas cake either yet, so I think I'll get that cut up and DD can take it in her packed lunch ;)

DD is currently washing up, then I'll get the WM going. Hoping for a calm day today, but we'll have to wait and see. :rotfl:

LOL.. did it start with one F and end with 2 more?? .. I'd probably have not even woken up I'm a right dead head.

I think I may need to take this mouth infection to the quacks.. and my hips.. My mouth appears to be causing sinus and ear and throat issues now and my hips and pelvis have improved very little since Pixie arrived.. but that may now be partly down to crappy weather.. I can barely walk and definitely not for any distance with the pushchair or crutches to take some of the strain... and I weigh less than I did after having Dot so it isn't an extra weight issue..

Dot just used to potty for the first time all of her own accord! I am so not wanting to toilet train her while Squeak is STILL, after 18 months, peeing everywhere and anywhere.

15 mountains of washings to get through.. it's not too indecent outside so I'll hang it out if someone will lift the basket.. I am currently refusing to do anything.. I need someone to go get milk.. I can't carry it back from the shop, and they are all so selfish no one will do this one thing I asked but they expect me to cook their food and do their washing and tidy their mess and shop for them.. well they can bog off.. I'm doing nothing!
