In case you don't have the time, 12 hours in a cold room, apparently.

Tidying, dailies and s/and/s'ing still going on here, and research into how to implement various ideas.

  • We're in - some work to do on the ironing, but in better place than last year or the year before...

Thanks Honey Bear - I was panicking. With it being yellow-stickered I didn't want to get it out too early. Incidentally I am having some massively bargainous finds in the yellow sticker dept - I now have broccoli and stilton soup (29p) and salmon pate (19p) in the freezer; both of which will make 'posh' pack ups for me (that's packed lunches to those from 'dahn saath';)) - I normally do a slimming world cheese triangle and dried bread thing but I get BORED doing that when I am full time!

I'm in again from tomorrow ('deferred' at the beginning of last week - thanks, Valli ;)). Thank you to Dusty and Natty for keeping this lifeline going. I tried to post yesterday on the old thread, but my new kindle was out of charge and I couldn't get to the PC, so I gave up.

It's lovely to read so many familiar names, but also lots of new ones. 2014 will be an 'interesting' year for me, with lots of changes and uncertainties to start with. At the moment I'm planning ahead until Friday, when I see my GP again. After that I can hopefully make more longer term plans.

The house needs major work, I have qualifications to study for and DS2 needs to be kept more active, so I'll have plenty to keep me busy. I'll write my list over a cup of tea in the morning.

    Night all.

My tree is down, its in pieces on the sofa and the decs are spread over the sideboard & dining table. I took great delight in turning the radiator back on, now I won't feel so chilly in here :rotfl:

I'm off to bed now, much later than planned. I have to be up at 6am to make sure I'm ready for my delivery for work to arrive after 7am. Guess I'll be turning the buzzer rather than the radio alarm on

    Morning all

I have no idea why I'm awake this early and am hoping I might still go back to sleep. I need to do some ironing today if I'm going to complete the ironing challenge but as Dusty has missed my post where I said I'd join in I could get away with it. I want to try and clear a space in the kitchen to put my new SC too and Hoover the downstairs.

I also need to try and find some Nike blazers for dd for her birthday on Thursday. She wants grey with a purple tick but I can't find any at the moment.

I've also got quite a bit of work to do for scouts and school so that needs fitting in at some point.

I think I'm going to have a little read on my kindle now as I've been typing this for half an hour and see if I manage to nod off again.

    Have a good day all.

    Hugs
