I got a pate gift set and some cheese plates (from the same person). Apart from not liking pate and having a tiny kitchen with barely enough room to store the plates we actually use, I was mifed because the person who gave it to us had said earlier this year that they were cutting back on gifts. No problem there, but the pate and plates were £18 each, so more than the £20 gift voucher we used to get! I managed to return the plates, but can't return the pate as it's food. Who spends £18 on two tiny jars of pate???

Also, another relative who asked what vouchers we'd like (Amazon) then bought Boots vouchers instead. I rarely shop in Boots, and why bother asking? I can only assume that my SILs asked for Boots vouchers, and we just got the same. That's happened before :( I appreciate the gift, but not the total lack of thought behind it.

Sell your boots voucher to your SIL, then spend the £ on Amazon.

Oh my brother is really good at giving me vouchers for places I never shop in. I usually sell them on eBay.

A willy warmer for my first ever secret santa, I hope i don't have to do one ever again, at least not with a college group that consists 96% of young girls. The last day before we broke up was spent playing charades and pictionary with words that people had put into a bag.... words like finger bashing and other various things that showed a distinct obsession for male genitalia. :o

Btw this is an adult course so girls are 19+

Also they're going to be the next generation of nurses once qualified. :D

I quite like the colours though so i might keep the knitted ball sack and make a coin pouch out of it.

A portrait of the gifter. I was telling this to an acquaintance of mine who told me she had send photos of herself as gifts.
