  • Just done Day 9 with my most creative lunch: a pig-in-blanket and breadcrumbed mozzarella salad with honey mustard dressing (well they'd have never got eaten after Christmas).

Just realised that there are 22 working days in Jan for me and I plan to eat out tomorrow. Leaves me with one other day... Yikes!

This month has been horribly hectic and stressful. I haven't had time to post here for ages, and I don't know what number I'm on now (probably 7) but I am trying to take my lunch to work. It's actually helpful, because it means I get to spend my lunch doing the million things I need to do, rather than just queuing to buy food.

Evening all! Hope everyones well and not too chilly! Horrible crampy tummy tonight and swollen knees, I slipped over on the ice today :( gave the dog walkers a laugh!

I ended up eating at work today but it was free coz it was a mistake, does that count? Sometimes the chefs let us have stuff if it was made in error or the wrong order etc :)

    I don't start until 5pm tomorrow so I'll eat at home :)

  • #69 here! Just a quick post to say days 6 and 7 are complete! I took the falafel, salad and pitta bread on both days delish!

I haven't made anything tonight so may well end up relying on the Ainsley Hariott cous cous lurking in my desk for just these occasions lol!
Although to be fair I might end up buying something from the canteen. I stopped smoking and on day 4 - a
nd £15 richer for it :eek: so might decide I deserve a treat.

That's assuing I don't count at treats 3 of the doughnuts my colleague brought in yesterday, a box of chocolates over 2 days. a handful of biscuits today (when I rarely eat them at all normally) or multiple packets of crisps!!:eek: At this rate I'm going to end up wider than I am tall! :rotfl::rotfl:Am hoping it's temporary anyway!

hi all took fish stew yesterday to work so that's 6 out of 18. Fish stew again today and then that's the last of it and I'll have to take something else on Thursday.
  • Morning all #51 4/16. Have 2 more days left this week so should be able to manage those. Think I'll be 2 days short this month of my target but that's because I've been given 2 less days at work :( Nevermind. Starting a new job next month with more days and contracted hours :j so happy.

    #19 - Day 10/20 (I think?)

Well today has been hectic but I got by!

Ran out of bread but THANKFULLY had a pitta in the freezer. Forgot to bring in milk for brekkie so I used the work milk (I normally bring in my own almond milk).

Pitta with cheese and coleslaw and lettuce (used up remains of coleslaw. With some lentil soup (half of yesterdays tub).

Apple and banana and yogurt as snacks and ask before...I shall snaffle whatever snacks I can :) Don't like it when my work bring in sweeties that are not in wrappers! As I can't stock up for days when there is nothing :D
