Evening everyone! Today was almost a SFD, except my mother and I decided to book her birthday event at the end of February (a musical in London) before both show tickets and train tickets shot up in price. Train tickets have been taken from this month's entertainment budget and the show money was put aside in savings so has been budgeted for as well. Have managed to save around £50 by booking train tickets now rather than being disorganised and leaving it until later - train tickets are ridiculously expensive!Novuna personal finance 0% 4-year £518/£1866Credit card debt free! Well I'm wide awake and still in nights mode so am deliberating whether to use this time productively and do a midnight trot on the treadmill  I dont think I'll be thanked for repeatedly pounding the mill at this time of night plus there's the risk I will end up too awake and unable to sleep!
Fmess What a palava for you yesterday! Lots of silver linings to be had despite your unexpected spend

Morning!
Didn't manage to post yesterday but did try and keep up with the thread whilst at work ..... thread moved alot quicker than things did at work lol!:)
2/20 SFD & 2/15 exercise
All other targets not yet attempted - am planning for another SFD and a swim after work tonight as have run for the last 2 days so need to relax into the weekend.
Need to look at what food I need for the coming week , am planning a visit to Axdi tomorrow and want to ensure that I get everything I will need for the week as not planning on food shopping again next week - the cupboards are quite full and I want to try and finish with some £'s left in the food budget ( even though I have cut it by £20 this month).
Friend has asked me round for tea and cake on Saturday afternoon so that's good - no spend and hopefully if the weather isn't too bad can cycle there. Hoping to hear from my boss today about a mentoring course I have been asked to go on by a charity I have previously done soem work with. If I can go on thecourse next week it will be the start of a new challenge for me which I am really looking forward to - an chance to help others:)
Well have a great day - hope that the weather isn't too bad wherever you are.

Morning one and all!
Kat - could you just clarify no spend days for me. Don't want to be naughty and end up on the naughty step!!!! I have purses with cash in for each of the different budgets - food, petrol and kids craft club. If I spend out these purses does it still count as a spend day even though I have already budgeted for them and put the cash aside in my special purses?
Hubby just asked for 20p to put air in his tyres!!! Cheek of it when I am planning a nsd! Told him to look down the side of the sofa first before asking me. If he found enough down side of sofa he was not to tell me and just use it for his tyres, because then no money has come out my special purses and I can keep my nsd. Phew - he didn't come back to me!!!

Ha ha! Jolly typos making me look silly...... again.....They have no air in them!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. I would be curious about this too - I've counted that I've had spend days for each of the days so far, but if we're not including budgeted spends like food then I've only had one!0
