Balls ...... that's not great here either :( (the joys of living in the country!)

Quite a few of them will work OKish here but on the journey to & at my parents (who are very rural) it's awful - and probably the most likely place that I'd be stranded / stuck if I crashed / broke down so ..... (anywhere else isn't quite as bad as bound to be passing traffic)

    Will keep hunting .....

Is it getting darker in the mornings?

It's just turned 8am and it's still pitch black ..... I thought the shortest day was past!

  • It's not just you, I thought that this morning.

How do you get you cats to use a kitty bed? Mine take one look at them, turn tail and wander off to the middle of the closest human bed for nap/ 40 winks/ full on trips to land of nod.

I'm not complaining, just think a custom made kitty bed would be nic n snug for them...

Definitely darker in the mornings, I suspect because of incoming weather :(

    :D Typical cats!

I think it just depends - some like them, some don't

I don't think Smudge ever set paw in any of his beds BUT both Archie & Mia do :D

Her more so than him - as he is often found on my bed but just to show him off in one of his beds ...

The hot water pipes run under the shower tray! ;)

All theirs are somewhere quiet and away from busy areas of the house (eg the shower!) and away from drafts / near to radiators etc - don't know if that makes any difference

It took both of our cats about 10 months before they realised their bed and how comfy it was :rotfl: now, most days, there's one or the other in there :D

Happy New Year rising, here's to 2014 being a good 'un :)

My cat decided to use her bed (instead of mine ;) ) a few months ago...2 years after i bought it for her :D No idea why...probably because i placed it near the radiator!

Happy New Year, Rising. I hope 2014 is a better one for you :)
  • Cats ..... who'd have them eh!;)

    Booo :(

My mum travels quite a bit and I think she said Or4ng3 were usually better in the really far out areas. Don't suppose your parents would be up for getting a signal booster? I think for a while V0da4fon3 were offering them free.

Ta, I'll let them know but a) it would only be if it's free (they're trying to sell their house just now so wouldn't want to pay for it) and b) how far would it help for - if only just as the house, it still wouldn't solve the poor coverage when driving around there which is a no - go :(
