Thanks LAM .... typically now I'm ill, Maisie is back to her wonderfully bouncy, full of beans, on the go constantly & wanting loads of walks self
*sigh* poor lamb's hardly been out the past few days ....... that may well be why she's so energetic but she seems much happier in herself
I've made the swap back onto her old food gradually this week so hopefully the itching will stop (which may have been part of the problem) and will then try to work out what it is that's causing itGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Today seems to be slipping by in a mix of sleeping and trying to get the odd thing done
Walked down to the local shop earlier for a couple of bits (it's 10 mins) & took Maisie so at least she's been out a bit (it's through the park so she did get some ball chasing done!) BUT had to stop 3 times for a rest on the way back & then slept for 2+ hours
The only bright bit about that was that Mia was curled up on my knee like a little HW bottle and purred the whole time:)
She's just gone back upstairs & Archie's now appeared - *sigh* it really is like musical cats here now but at least they all seem happy!
Did a Mr A order earlier & signed up for the 3 month delivery for £15 - costs me around £8 in fuel to go to the big store so that should save some money :T.
I'd already decided I needed to go there more often as the wee ones here a) don't have 1/2 the stuff I want b) only have small packs which are way more expensive & c) I can only get Mia's food at the big Mr A now .....
Aiming to do a biggish order every fortnight & then just little top ups the other week at the local store - will see how it goes!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Car tax
So the Bus Fund has now been put aside for the car tax (due Feb) - keep your fingers crossed we don't get 10 feet of snow or I'm stumped!
Had £60 in it & also put the £25 into it that I'd have used for my massage on Friday (didn't go as wasn't well) - only £35 to find
ETA Yay! Made it to £100
Emptied the bus fund pot (£54) plus the massage money (£25) came to £79 so added a £ from the pot = £80
Then counted the other £s = £11 .... raided £2 piggy (£6) and then the 50p jar (£3) so got another £20 :T
Yay! Only one lone 50p left though! Feel much better only having £20 to find now- don't want to go through this again & really MUST get the pots working again

Hi Risin
I hadn't realised you had started a new diary - I was still subscribed to the old one but as you can see I catch on eventually. Glad to hear that all is right in your world:D - *subscribes*

Finances update
Negative
Totally lost track of NSDs- I will have reached my target as haven't spent much the past few days but haven't been logging properly
Positive
Loving the online SM orderingIt's fab being able to put stuff in / out your trolley and think - 'oh that can wait until next week' if I've got to the min amount (£40) It's great being able to see exactly what's there & I find I can visualise meals from the ingredients a lot better :T
Plan for today
Need fuel so will need to venture out- it is awful out there!
Maisie needs walked anyway .......
Moo - if you got stuck in that horrendous rain yesterday, it's like that here this morning. I popped to PAH for stuff for Maisie* but unfortunately also ended up having to go to the PAH at Straiton too as FK didn't have one of the things I needed - if I'd realised how bad it'd got outside I'd never have gone .... horrendous
* that was a bargain - had one box to get replaced (no quibbles), also had a 10% off voucher & £15 of gift vouchers so her boxes of food cost £4 each :T (usually £10!) so that's a great saving
Ended up stopping at Dobbies for an hour to wait until it eased off a bit as really didn't fancy driving home in that!
It was funny though as got home & it eased off a bit so thought 'now or never' for walking Maisie - and we had a LOVELY walk through the woods, down & along the beach and back up the other side
Not sure if there's any hope of that today though!
Hope you're all warm & safe xxGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
