Thanks Hon. My biggest achievement is paying my dad's loan off this month, I feel so much better knowing that his £8500 has now paid off in full. He might need to access that cash given his situation (he is still in hospital and likely to have to fund care). Imagine if he needed that money and I still owed him it. I couldn't bear that. Hope things going for you x

Well... I should have added a further goal for 2014.

I've just found out that I'm going to have a baby in 2015!

It's very early days but we are very happy!

Debt busting will have to take a back seat for a while! LOL

First off... Congratulations NYD on your great news about the baby. A bit of good news after the horrible year you have had so far. I am so sorry to hear about your FIL and your dad.

    1) clear debt by end 2014.
Not looking very likely at the moment but I am a determined eejit so will keep trying.

    2) budget better!!
It is working at times. Life occassionally gets in the way a bit, that's all.

    3) save £60 a month for a contingency fund.
Erm... this is working, but only because it comes out of my main account and I have nothing to do with it.

    4) take part in challenges to keep foccussed.
    Still taking part in challenges.

    5) lose 72lbs in weight.
Nope. Trying but getting nowhere miracle-y.

    6) OH to get his dream flying job.
    :(

    7) Plan a dream holiday to New York.
Not happening. Too poor, however it is now added into our honeymoon plans.

    8) get a nice picture of me and OH to go on display.
Also not happening. Haven't lost any weight. Still hate the pictures of me. So not got a nice picture.

Anyways, a mix of yays and nays now that we are halfway through the year. Fingers crossed I can focus more and work harder for this second half.
    :)

How is everyone else getting on??
    Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91
    Savings: £0/£6400
