Sorry for your loss NYD. Chin up
I've not updated for a few weeks, had a few things going on so mind not been with it.
Anyway:
1, Make an overpayment of £1.5k on the mortgage. Nothing yet.
2, Decorate & tile my bathroom, bedroom and DS's Bedroom......(and potty train and get him into a big boys bed!) Still prepping son's room and getting closer to finishing.
3, replace guttering - Have someone coming to quote us on Friday and also the guttering. Unfortunatly we may be getting a loan to cover the costs and buy a secondhand car as partners is knackered!
4, Declutter (ongoing with 2 kids!) Does it ever end? Had another trip to the tip and have some more stuff to put on free to collector sites
On a personal level;
5, Get a better camera (saving up swagbucks, surveys etc for this) and get more involved with photography - Still doing survey's, swags etc - But spending the points as they come in!
6, Finally have a family holiday even if it's just 4 days on a Sun Deal. PAID with CASH!!!! Go me!
7, continue walking through and visiting the local country side. Been on quite a few walks.....I just love it!
8, Volunteer, even if it's not regular...... Done one evening at Rainbows. Nothing new
Hope everyone has a good Easter!Oh I do want to live in Countryside.......with the kids, pets and LOTS of books.........

1. Get sugar control (I'm diabetic)
Need to get myself into gear with this one. i know i'm slipping into bad habits
2. Work out what I need in a savings pot and go for it
Cash holding upped by £10. Current savings at £4.5k. Not likely to increase for a bit as rates bill to be paid at month end.
3. Make mortgage overpayments equivalent to 3x monthly payment
whoop whoop. hit this target for q1. also, added to it and covered the cost of the interest charge. Made Tt totalling £15.
4. Lose weight. Weighed in at 14.5 stone on 01 jan. Back to this weight
5. Declutter
four more items identified - two for charity shop and two for dump. These actually made it to their respective new homes. Yay
6. Take garden in hand
Planted out three things, started my salad pot. Gathered up some debris. Small steps but they help

Hey peeps, while I haven't exactly been setting the world on fire with my progress, I do think having this thread acting as the voice of my conscience has stopped things from worsening. Today's scary thought is that we are two weeks away from having killed off the first third of the year. What if we made a concerted effort and all do an update showing starting position and end of April position? Anyone else game?Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Quick update. Up two of the wrong pounds (weight) got cash holding up to £100, got a few items on ebay and one being washed to go to charity shop. A few hours done in the garden and got my mortgage payment date moved forward by three weeks which should minimise the interest payments. Yay.

Oh god I just ate a FAMILY size bar of mint aero :wall:
Also spent a small fortune this weekend so will need to update my goals to include my debt once I tally it all up.
Plussssssss me & DH have decided that we want to do a cruise around Asia which will cost a small fortune, This means that we wont be going on said cruise until at least 2017.
It will be well worth the wait though.

Our plans are as follows:
1. Clear all our debt by July ( we are doing really well with this so far )
2. Start my masters in October
3. Replenish the savings we had for the children which we sadly had to use
4. Be calmer & let the small suff go
5. Shout less
6. Start my own savings account ( finally after having no savings for 10 years )
Phew not much then......:(House renovation savings £25,000/£25,000
Emergency fund £1000
