  • Hello again everyone,
cleared the balance off another credit card today of £160. It's making me sweat a bit as it means I have to work really hard to cover it and hopefully some more (I am self employed with a little part time job too!) but on the plus side I had an extra shift at my part time job, due to sickness.

    #102 £406.48/£8696.48
    LBM 1.1.16 = £27096.59 - now £17,020.38

    Paydbx 2017 - £3588.90/£7000 = 51.27% - number 74

    Paydbx 2016 - £6487.31/£7000 = 92.67% - number 74

Today I successfully haggled £20 off my breakdown cover, and will use this money to get the sun roof on my car fixed. It has been leaking for ages, so when I got a really wet bum this morning on the drive to work, I only had myself to blame!

My last car had a leaky sunroof. I considered it an indoor swimming pool. A bit of a feature really :D

    I paid off another £20 today so my new total is;

    #12 - £953.38 / £10,000 = 9.53%
    SPC9 #125 - £816.85
    SPC10 #125 - £851.81
    SPC 11 #7 - £968.46
    SPC 12 #7 - £2682.90
    SPC 13 #7 - £4829.85
    SPC 17 #7 - £7313.63

Well this challenge just got harder for me as I have just received notice that my income is going to drop by £400 per month and on top of that the working tax sent me an underpayment cheque for £1300 6 months ago which I spent on replacing my rotten windows and now guess what? Yep they want it back :/ Brilliant, why send me money only to ask for it back!!

AMR547 I'm sure you'll do great and hopefully next month we'll both be up in double figure percentages...I think you're a touch ahead of me percentage wise x
  • bellabear welcome back to this year. Hope you're enjoying your new country :) You're number 139.

    LAM2011 - total updated

kei - I've updated your total too, don't worry about it too much, these things happen!

sharonej that's really annoying, hope you can get something sorted!

32b3 you don't drive a clio by any chance? :rotfl:

How exciting we've been moved! Although it might have been nice for whoever moved us to have told me or let us know somehow...

Priced up the sun-roof repairs, and it's a lot more than I expected (I thought maybe £40, it's more like £160 ) I might just sit on carrier bags for a while....
