Just paid a cheeky extra £10 off. I have my last minimum payment to make on the 20th Dec and that will be me for the rest of this year.

Next year I will be paying off a little bit of the debt and adding to it significantly  :o then 2016 will involve some serious debt busting!!

    New figures:

    £2941.51/£6414.51 45.86%
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

In and out in 5 minutes and that included a parking space. Easier than we thought.

Nice shiny new micro-combi oven. We bought some big jacket spuds for dinner to test it out.

We got a micro combi about 7 years ago and basically used it as a microwave. Last Christmas our cooker stopped working and we got the instructions out for the microwave. We use it as an oven quite a bit now. It's handy when you have only one thing to cook. We often do garlic bread or pizza in there. Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is make sure you use it as more than a microwave!

Spuds last night were awesome, fluffy inside and crispy skins. I think we will use it more than our oven as we only really have small things to cook in it.

Hoping my ex finally pays me the extra child support he owes me as that would take me just over the £3,000. I don't think I'll have any spare money before the end of the year otherwise :(

  • Thanks for the thanks everyone!

Getting very excited for the end of year now. I am going to make my final payment on Christmas Eve I think - see how much money I have left. We will be getting pair 5 days early this month, and I need to be careful not to touch that money until I have to! Glad to see so many of you continuing forward to next year :)

mothernerd - an eventful year and a half! I am glad to hear your hip replacement is starting to help the pain, and have my fingers crossed for a quick sale for you. Well done for remembering us after all that as well! Good luck for the next year :)

I get paid on Monday but will transfer it to the savings account until the end of the month. I have done this for years since ending up in a real pickle once. Never again. I don't like 6 weeks between pay days.
