Just popping by to say Hi. Feel a bit in limbo waiting for the 2015 thread to start. I've got my target and spreadsheet ready, I am quite sad and keep updating my spreadsheet with imaginary payments to see how quickly I can repay the debts!!
I've finally closed one of the accounts I paid off, I received a bill for £3.45 interest for the part of the month where there was an outstanding balance - pah!
There are some amazing results on here, well done everybody. :-)A vision without a plan is just a dream.0 -
Hi everyone
Well done to everyone who has become debt free
I'm still plodding along & Christmas has got in the way a bit. I'm trying to be good but I sort of feel like its spiralling.
I've paid off 2 0% cards where the deal ended in December, so I've just got one left now. That runs out in May and I am determined not to do another balance transfer. The card I just paid off last month has already written with a tempting offer......
Number 54 £12066.96/£14420.00 83.7%
There's not likely to be any change before Xmas now

Went Xmas shopping yesterday in Bromley and online for the last few days. Have spent a fair bit but still have £400 left in bank to get me through until Xmas payday which I think is the 18th December. Long old January.
Hoping I have enough spare to pay off more credit card and then pay the whole rest off by Xmas Eve !!0 -
#174 here and I wish to declare total for 2014
£15,676 / £27,890
What a year it has been. I have saved-paid off debt and saved and paid some more off.
I did not think I would accomplish the best part of £16,000 towards my debts but I have and have no doubt that in 2015 at some point, will be debt free. I wish you all the very best for Christmas and many thanks to minicooper and all the others on this board., without you,I would still be in a right nightmare.
See you all in 2015 X The Skipper :santa2:(Debt Jan 2014 LBM £34,000) Current 2016 "Problems" as follows:

I feel proud of each and everyone of us! No matter how much or how little you have paid, you have recognised that you need to do something and have made those steps towards taking action, and that is a really difficult thing to do. Well done everybody!0

#210 - £220/£1200
I paid £150 yesterday so balance is now £220. I didnt want to pay it all until i see what i have at the end of the month as i dont get paid until 31st December and really wouldnt want to be withouth cash. I am tightening the belt now as i have finished my present shopping so hopefully i will have some spare before December's pay will finish it off and i will be DF. Even with my savings, Christmas is so blinkin expensive and i feeling like a right miser. Cant wait for January now :rotfl:Debt Free Jan 2015 :T0 -
