#174 here and the Fishing boat has just docked.
Cleared Credit Card Number 2 today, Its gone!
Been a hard few weeks but have now reached 45% CLEARED! Now a few people have mentioned on here that they wont clear all of it by Christmas-Nor will I. However, without Mini Coopers help with this thread I can honestly say I would not have paid a penny back. At the start of the year I was in a terrible state and was just about to give up on Life.
A few others on here always stop by my Diary and give encouragment which has been so good. So head down, and working towards clearing Credit Card 3 now!
Here are the Figures........£12,553 / £27,890
.(Debt Jan 2014 LBM £34,000) Current 2016 "Problems" as follows:
C Cards 1,2,3,4 WAS £18,333 NOW£0 :j...Overdraft WAS £2700 NOW£0 :j
Secured Loan WAS £4113 NOW£0:j.......Loan WAS £8864 NOW £6,000
DEBT TODAY = £6,000 (£28,000 PAID OFF SO FAR!)0 -
Good work GunWharf! I'ts great seeing the list of creditors getting shorter and shorter.
I too will not clear the whole debt by christmas, but I'm looking forward to starting next year with a much smaller total - and we'll definately do it by christmas 2015 right guys?
Nolongerindenial, I hope you can find a few quid each month for some fun stuff, a night or two in the pub maybe. Don't let the debt-busting make you miserable, you only live once! Think of all the progress you've made and keep coming here for support, we'll all get through it together.
Good luck with the interview Mat_LockStarting 2016 debt-free

im literally in tears - I shrug the debt off like it means nothing to me, the truth is I know my past is holding back my future, I need to clear the debts as we want a nice house, we want some of the nicer things in life rather than scrimping and saving to buy basics.
I work silly hours (its 3:20am and im just taking a break whilst the computer processes the next upload, will probably finish around 4:30 tonight and have customers on the phone at 9-9:30
