Trying to work out finances for the rest of the month, and it's not looking very positive!

I will have my usual pay packet to live off of next month, but it will barely cover everything it needs to. In September I will have a reduced pay packet (though that means a slightly bigger pay in October). I then have a holiday in November and suddenly it's Christmas!

In terms of this challenge, I will be able to make a payment in October. But only if I manage to pay off what goes on my credit card to help me get through August and September....

i'm in my overdraft again because a payment comes out monday and i don't get paid until wednesday! i've had to make two payments this month from the same payday so it's !!!!!!ed me up a bit.

i think this month (ie. payday on friday) will be OK though, we're on holiday for a week (so no food shopping or petrol costs) and obviously have spending money set aside. we are full board though and have pre-booked two trips - so i don't anticipate spending too much!!

when we come back, any spares from the spending money (hopefully plenty left!!) will be my back up buffer in my current account and i'm hoping to make a payment to one of my debts too, there's only £325 left on it so i'm nearly there.

Yeah, it's always better to go out with more money than you think you'll need. There's always something you didn't account for when you come back, so it comes in handy!

I've been through my new contract, and I'm going to shift from and end of the month pay day to the 27th (handy as that's the day I'll come back from holiday), I think that's going to be a bit of a mind shift though...

Well based on the time of the month I'll be moving, my rent and bills will all be coming out around the 20th. I think we'll just sit in a dark house with no internet for a week to give it time to catch up to when we'll be getting paid...
