we are mid terraced and our neighbours are both retired which is great. my old place, also mid terraced, had people who liked doing diy at 6am and the other side was a thug who used to beat his girlfriend up. needless to say i am glad we moved. i would like a semi detached with a decent garden when we move - pref not with a road in the front and at rear!0

I have approx 13k of debt. Will work out the exact amount this week.
Not too late at all! You're more than welcome to join, and I don't expect you to read all the way back to January... You'll be #206!0 -

Ruby,
If you wait, they will send you an offer on more free listings. I never pay to list anything & got an email at the weekend saying I can list 100 items this month for free. :rotfl:
Only 2 items sold at the weekend totaling a tenner. I must be down to the dregs now

Oh good stuff I might just get my photos ready and cross my fingers!
Well the last of my auctions finished this evening - I'd paid for postage, ebay fees etc - sent £90 to my bank and treated my self to a few bits (dress for a wedding I'm going to next month, new handbag and a SW food diary) then I went to my online banking and started setting up the payments for next month - only I paid the money off the card immediately instead of scheduling it for payday  So not only do I actually have less in my account than I did before the ebay-a-thon, I've paid the CC before the statement date so I'll have to pay more when I actually do get paid
I'm such a twit - this is what you get for trying to sort out your online banking at the same time as watching the end of Avengers Assemble :rotfl:
So I will have to sort out a load more ebay stuff to try and see us through the month - and will be having tea & cake at home instead of having a day out - but on the positive side, the weather is supposed to be pants this week anyway0 -

Hi all. I haven't been on for ages as snowed under with work, but wanted to share my good news. I made my last payment on my Debt Management Plan with Payplan in June and received a lovely phone call from them at the beginning of this month confirming that all my creditors had been contacted and my balances were at £0.00. I have paid off around £50,000 in debt over the last 7 years via this plan and to get this call was lovely. Makes a change from all those from creditors chasing payments.
I would love to say that this means I can be added to the debt free roll of honour, but not quite there yet as I still have a family loan to pay back. I should be able to pay at least £1000 a month plus a bit more on occasion so this should be cleared fairly quickly, although my parents aren't pushing for this as they are just relieved that I am finally back on track. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel at long last and it is a great feeling!
My latest total for this year is:
#041 £7086.97/£16500
Keep pushing forward everyone, there are some brilliant amounts being paid off and some amazing stories on here. We are all kicking debt up the butt!Paid off £16,715/£16,550 by Christmas 2013Now to pay off all remaining debts by Christmas 2014Total to pay #041 £7,086.97/£16,500Only £9,413.03 to go :eek:0
