congrats minicooper that's fab!!!
we went to a festival on friday and i took out £50, we only spend around £15 though so that's good.
i did get a massive massive sunburn though so i am feeling very sorry for myself
on the holiday countdown nowonce that's out of the way, its time to do some serious debt busting to pay down the last of my debts and to leave the car at a reasonable balance.

wow amr - well done for only spending £15! Is it one of those festivals you get to take in your own booze and food?
I sat for a little while yesterday working out an optimistic estimate for how much I can pay off this year, and think I can reach 81%...0 -
cant believe we are half way through the year already, so looking forward to the school holidays and a break from scouting its great fun and rewarding, but need a break and me time.
Have not had chance to visit the site for a month, but have been busy debt busting. now going to look at your posts and give me inspiration to carry on with the debt reduction. thankyou everyone

yes you could, we bought some small snacks at the festival and a few drinks but i made sandwiches to take with us, there were cans of pop and bottles of water in the car and i also took some large bags of crisps too so it helped save money! we took a cool bag so it would all stay nice and cool in the car. prices were extortionate - it was like £9 for anything decent to eat, and £2.50 for chips (which were horrible by the way :rotfl:)0 -
I too won't make 100% of my target but I will have reduced my debts down to just 1, which is an achievement in itself considering I had about 9 last year!0

Payments are slow for me this month as I'm not sure what I have left or not! I know I have a big payment going out on the 21st which is annoying as I don't get paid until the 23rd. Bah!0

I have good news and bad news this month.
I have been accepted on art foundation course starting in September which is absolutely amazing, unfortunately in order to do that I had to take out a student loan of £3920. I am estimating that my credit card would be cleared by the start of the course and so I can focus on repaying the loan as soon as it's been paid to college avoiding added interest as much as possible.
This month #197 cleared £199.45 off mortgage and £170 off credit card.Mortgage £8472.53
Student Loan £44156.090 -
£419.94 paid off the credit cards so
