    congrats minicooper that's fab!!!

we went to a festival on friday and i took out £50, we only spend around £15 though so that's good.

i did get a massive massive sunburn though so i am feeling very sorry for myself :(

on the holiday countdown now :D once that's out of the way, its time to do some serious debt busting to pay down the last of my debts and to leave the car at a reasonable balance.

wow amr - well done for only spending £15! Is it one of those festivals you get to take in your own booze and food?

I sat for a little while yesterday working out an optimistic estimate for how much I can pay off this year, and think I can reach 81%...

yes you could, we bought some small snacks at the festival and a few drinks but i made sandwiches to take with us, there were cans of pop and bottles of water in the car and i also took some large bags of crisps too so it helped save money! we took a cool bag so it would all stay nice and cool in the car. prices were extortionate - it was like £9 for anything decent to eat, and £2.50 for chips (which were horrible by the way :rotfl:)

I too won't make 100% of my target but I will have reduced my debts down to just 1, which is an achievement in itself considering I had about 9 last year!

Payments are slow for me this month as I'm not sure what I have left or not! I know I have a big payment going out on the 21st which is annoying as I don't get paid until the 23rd. Bah!

I have good news and bad news this month.
I have been accepted on art foundation course starting in September which is absolutely amazing, unfortunately in order to do that I had to take out a student loan of £3920. I am estimating that my credit card would be cleared by the start of the course and so I can focus on repaying the loan as soon as it's been paid to college avoiding added interest as much as possible.

This month #197 cleared £199.45 off mortgage and £170 off credit card.
    Mortgage £8472.53
    Student Loan £44156.09
