We had a grand total of 5 new members (Hi newbies!) and 2 new members became debt free!
Congratulations to araminta and freespirit66 for clearing your debts!
(P.S. we're not 21.49% towards being debt free as a group)0 -

Camper van engine has just gone so am needing to replace it
And just cancelled next weeks holiday too
Will update automatic payments bt new engine will have to go on cc as don't have that kind of money in savings.
When will you start thread of "pay all your debts by Xmas 2015" ??!
Oh dear, hope you get the campervan sorted soon! The new thread will probably appear around boxing day...Determined_diva wrote: »Hi all
I have been missing from here recently but will make sure I post more often!
Need to submit my debt totals but just wanted to say that I have had a good day
1 - got a £5k payrise at work
2 - got a 2nd job which will being me in £400 pm extra
Both will massively help my debt free quest!!

Well done on the pay rise! That will come in really handy...0 -
Yay - in received a new job offer today! It will come with a fab little pay rise too. I inflated my current salary by around 4% in the interview (that's my pension too), but they've given me close to a 20% rise!
It'll give me around £170 extra each month, though it will involve a bit more driving. For this reason I think I need to empty my savings to buy a newer (comfier) car...0 -
Well done minicooper272 on the new job! XxDFD Feb 2015:

£80 more off-there will be more to come off next week-it's very slow going at the moment-think I was a little ambitious with what I wanted to pay off but I will keep plodding away at it.
#165 1190.28/4000
Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34
EF #70 £0/£1000

A little update from me:
#004 £1,675/3500 (47.86%)
I'd love it if I could beat 50% this month, but anything I manage not to spend really needs to go aside for my trip to Vegas in November.
I really don't think I'll meet 100% this year - especially with next month. It's car insurance and MOT month, I will have to pay a deposit for a new flat, and will also have a slight crossover in my leases. I have to go to a wedding, and then I will be moving (£70 for fuel, a big kitchen restock, new bedding, possibly posting items to myself if I run out of space in the car)0 -
Congrats on the job minicooper...fab news!
Nothing extra paid off recently. Over spent already this month so need to brace myself and sort through the bank account to work out the damage!
We edged the lawn today and that some how turned in to making a flower bed the length of the garden....don't ask me how that happened!! Will need to fill it with shrubs now...some of them are very expensive in the garden centre however Morrisons sell similar plants to the ones I'd like (albeit slightly younger) for much less money so that might make it a much cheaper option. Need to sort out finances first though!
