  • Well Done - Another Debt Free!

Well, not done much more this week overpayment wise, as on monday I have a biggy coming out for our advertising, £513.99, which equates to a jump on my debt free percentages of 2.33%, then with another £340 to come out before the end of the month it means things are going to be a little tight for us but it means we should have another ~4% of our creditors paid off by July 1st..

to say its stressfull is an understatement, but it will be worth it when we hit 100% like some of the really lucky people on here
    £4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!
    Debt free by Xmas 2015: #182 £1955.38/£4435.51 (44.08%)
MFW: Opening Balance: £108,297.91 Original MF Date: June 2042
Current Balance: £106600.27 Estimated MF Date: Dec 2033
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Hi reporting in for June.

Another payment on the credit cards.

    #186 £742.19/£2501.27 30%

I need some advice as well, I have some sharesaves with work, one is maturing in August but that is earmarked for a new bathroom. The next one doesn't mature until 2017 but what I've saved in there so far is enough to clear the credit card, but the share price we have is very good and could mean I double my money when it matures.

I also have another one maturing in 2018 but the share price isn't very good and I'm putting less in it and a share ownership scheme which buys at current market price. If I cash in both of those I would get back around £1,000 and that would make a big dent.

So should I cash in all or any of the shares? What do you think?

_party_ Congratulations freespirit I am so pleased for you!!! Freedom at last, enjoy it!! _party_

Well done on the win Mat_Lock. :D

Making my minimum payment today of £80. The minimum payment is going down each month but I'm keeping it at £80 to help chip it down quicker. ;) I also had a couple more facebay sales so another £5 paid off the card. :T :D

It was my wedding anniversary yesterday :smileyhea (16 years married and 21 together) so we went out for a meal and underspent our budget by £5. I guess I should pay that off the card too!! ;)

    New details:

    #191 £2478.67/£5426.67 45.68%

Currently balance £2948 so officially under £3k :T :j  :rudolf: And only £235 to the half way point!! :santa2:

I get paid on Tuesday and should have some overtime to use to make another over payment. It won't be a lot but it's better than nothing. :D
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

What would you get if you just cashed in the under performing one, that was due to mature in 2018? I would be tempted to cash that one in if it was worth something. :)

As for the 2017....you never know what might come up and happen by then...you may need it for something else. If there is a way you can reach your goal of shifting your debt by Christmas 2014 without cashing in the 2017 shares then I would say....step away from the marshmallow!! ;)
