amr547 Tesco have a sae on their summer stuff ATM both online and instore. I got 2 nice bikinis for £3 each yesterday. Tops were £2 and bottoms were £1:j:T
Got a few other things for going away in 2 weeks and it al came to about £15.
I'm going for the less is more approach this year.
Anyhow, I really came in to post that I paid £20 off my CU loan yesterday. Money is tight here ATM, but the plan is to pay £20 off each week and get myself into a routine to do it every Thursday hopefully. So hopefully get it paid off quicker.
Am looking into whether I'm best getting my Euros changed from Sterling, or just lifting it out from my banks Euro only ATM in town. For handiness sake I'm swaying towards the ATM option.
Then hopefully I can pay another bit off my credit card before I go on holiday.
So at the minute I'm standing at #148 £620/£2500
thanks, i will have a look! my only problem with swimwear is half of it won't hold my boobs up  and good supporting swimwear seems to cost an arm and a leg! matalan looks pretty good ATM so i'm hopng to pick something up in there.
i too am going for less is more - i am going to find out how much it'll cost to launder my clothes while i'm out there cos it would be easier than taking an outfit for every day0 -

I personally don't like Matalan's swim stuff as it never fits
I always buy my bikini's in Tesco as they do bra sizes, and even with me and my big chest I get nice stuff:o
As for my clothes, I just hand wash mine, we always go self catering so have nice big balconies, bring my piece of string and a bar of wash soap and I'm sorted. I'm planning on 5 outfits to do me the 2 weeks and just alternate them
We are relaxed on holiday so don't "dress up" at nighttime. We dress smart but not too much lol. It's more afternoon clothes I go overboard on for sitting in the apartment etc. And I usually wear the same things and the other are not touched.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
amr - capsule wardrobe means your mix and match bits of clothing to get different looks e.g. wear a dress on days 1, on day 2 wear the dress with a top over it so it looks like a top and skirt. The top will go with a pair of trousers on day 3, and the pair of trousers will go with a different top on day 4. It always sounds very simple, but I never quite manage it.
Last summer I took all my summer clothes up to my parents house to store, as I've been job hunting in a different part of the country (save on the volume of stuff I have to move). The job market is still stale, and now I have next to no summer stuff here, but I'm resisting buying any more. Trying to avoid the summer sales as best I can...0 -

well today ive decided to try and give freelancing as a php web developer a go again whilst our ecommerce business is quiet - was quite successfull in the past until I self detonated and went through a fair few down days which turned into down weeks, this means that ie got to start from scratch again, as I upset virtually every customer, and those I didnt upset (about a dozen) have sold out / gone broke in the economic downturn.
im damned if I do, and damned if I dont so I may as well give it a damn good try!£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!

Had another facebay sale today so banked it and have paid £5 off the card.
Just had the first instalment for a big job DH is doing. Will have to wait till the job is all done to see what the actual profit turns out to be...already had to pay £20 to have their cheque expedited so that we can order the gear from the supplier in time to do the install on the date DH gave them. Looking forward to being able to clear a big chunk of it though.

morning.
quite a lot has been going on since I left for my holiday two weeks ago.
I had to return from my holiday early as unfortunately my dad passed away unexpectly.he had been ill for some time but it was still a complete shock.
we are now in the process of making funeral arrangements and it has become clear that myself and my siblings will have to help with the payments towards these[my dad was remarried].it feels very wrong to be talking about money at this time but when money is an issue what choice do you have.luckly for me I still have my lodger staying with me and he wants to stay another 3 or 4 weeks.this will pay my contribution.
I have also found out that I have lost my little second job that I do.as it was private work it was well paid and will be a big loss to me.I am now
in the process of signing back on with the agency I used to do work for.
no overpayments for the time being but I will still be keeping up to date with everyones posts.there is no wealth but lifesealed pot challenge#240
