I know it's half way through the year, but I was wondering if I could join you all for the rest of the year.
My total debt stands at OD £1646.21 and CC £1103.46 and I want to get the OD paid off as quickly as possible as that incurs the most charges, so I have seven pay days left until the new year so I would like to get it paid off. I only work part-time in a low paid job that was my choice since giving up a stressful one but even though I was well paid and had a good life and I saved nothing, oh how people loved me and then quickly disappeared!!!! I have learnt the hard way and have come to terms with it now and have admitted to myself the error of my ways.

Well done you! :TContinuing my winning streak I just won 3 times in the work raffle. 2 bottles of wine, some Antipodes Day & Night Creams and some really dodgy looking Eau De Parfum called John Richmond Woman haha
Perhaps I should do the Euro lotto tonight.
Wow - well done you! Did you put the Lotto on yesterday? Should I be getting the debt free roll of honour ready? :rotfl::rotfl:
Should say, sorry all for not checking in much the last couple of weeks! The job market in my industry is just starting to pick up, and I've been filling quite a few hours. I've had a couple of interviews lately, which is getting a little pricey, but sadly no bites, for really silly reasons too, e.g. one company were going to make an offer, but then their branch manager decided they didn't want anyone any more...
I've been spending around £60 a go for train fares, plus have to buy food when I'm there. Ultimately I've been trying to tighten my belt to save for our holiday without impacting my target, but this has been making life quite tight.
I am now sitting at:
£1415/3500 (40.43%)
(well I will be on Monday, if I transfer any money out today I'll be left with £1 in my bank account!)0 -
I hate spending money (and time!) getting to job interviews - fingers crossed you find the perfect one soon0

Oh me too! I've been watching the job market for a year now, and it's been slim pickings! I'm looking for a job quite far away too, so going for interviews means being out of the house for up to 24 hours. That's a lot of meals to buy!0 -
