amr - £50 should be fine, I'm a big believer in Primani and Matalan holiday clothes. Have you tried looking at "capsule" wardrobes/suitcases? you don't always need a lot as some bits will be normal wear. Where we go on holiday in Majorca there's a few shops that do cheap n cheerful beachwear - much cheaper than the UK and lots of choice - plus i can see what the weather is like first :)

    108 here.

Another payment towards the car made today. Now I'm at £7051.84/£10,000.

Things are ticking along at the moment. Still got some substantial medical bills to pay. On the up side, the weather is nice and I've got some odd jobs done around the house. Still plenty to do though, so it should keep me fairly busy over the summer.

can't wait until i'm debt free and rich:rotfl::rotfl: only about a year to go  hopefully less than that if i pull my finger out. once i've paid off my remaining 2 debts (hopefully by december) i will get another figure to see how much i've got left to pay. currently owing about £800 on my two remaining debts so fingers crossed. if i manage to hit my target of £6000 paid by the end of the year i should only have 2k at most left on my final debt.

You can do it! Don't panic and just chip away at those debts. Good luck and I am sure we will all be closer to that debt free feeling at Christmas :T

    Congratulations freespirit66 :T

amr547 Tesco have a sae on their summer stuff ATM both online and instore. I got 2 nice bikinis for £3 each yesterday. Tops were £2 and bottoms were £1:j:T
Got a few other things for going away in 2 weeks and it al came to about £15.
I'm going for the less is more approach this year.

Anyhow, I really came in to post that I paid £20 off my CU loan yesterday. Money is tight here ATM, but the plan is to pay £20 off each week and get myself into a routine to do it every Thursday hopefully. So hopefully get it paid off quicker.
Am looking into whether I'm best getting my Euros changed from Sterling, or just lifting it out from my banks Euro only ATM in town. For handiness sake I'm swaying towards the ATM option.
Then hopefully I can pay another bit off my credit card before I go on holiday.

So at the minute I'm standing at #148 £620/£2500
